Sweet Birthday Cards
Hello! Nice to see you! :) Today I have some cards that I'd like to share with you. I was needing some new birthday cards so I while I was in town I found some things at the local Dollar Store and was inspired. There was a clear stamp set of birthday sentiments and they were so pretty. Then there were these lovely pre-cut images in a pack. All by Forever in Time.
The first card above I used one of these papers, some sweet twine and one of the sentiments. Below I used a few different embellishments with each of the styles of papers. Below I used a sentiment I already had for I thought it fit the space best. A doily that I cut out with my die cutter and some sheer pink ribbon.
This card I thought needed a bit more colour on the edge. So I embossed some sweet green paper with swiss dots and tucked it in there. I stamped the sentiment, and then added some flower ribbon on the edge.
Here I added some extra paper to the underside and a popped up flower above one of the new sentiments.
Then for this one, I added some paper behind the fancy one with a touch of distressing. I added a new sentiment and I love the swirlies. :) Then for a final touch some grey stripped ricrac.
For this last card I used a paper piece that fit the whole card. I added some bling, the sentiment and then it still needed more. I found some lace and ribbon that complimented, then a flower that I layered with a button and a bling flower.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see me! Praying you have a blessed day!

A Lovely Daughter
Hello! Yesterday one of my daughter's turned 13. The Lord has greatly blessed and she is such a lovely young woman who loves the Lord and is growing in the grace and knowledge of Him.
I made the above card for her from odds and ends of paper that I found in my craft room. I found some lace and crocheted some small flowers to match. The sweet girl image is from Anna Stillwell -Cuttlebug Cuties coloured up with Spectrum Noir markers. I inked the edges of the papers to add a softer tone, and the sentiment was a freebie I found online a long time ago.
Below is the cake I made my daughter and it tasted pretty good to. :)

Daisy!
Hi Friends! I love flowers, and this little flower card that came with a decorative paper set I found is lovely! I added some lace and ribbon in the background over some misc papers I had in my stash. Then I added some sweet little cream and white paper flowers and a couple crocheted flowers as well. Then I added some yellow rhinestones to their centres. So simple yet it makes me smile and I hope the lady I'm sending it to will smile to.
Praying you are having a lovely day and are able to pause in your day to see flowers and to wonder at the incredible designs that God has created in them.

Stripes and Gracie
Happy Sunny Day to You! I hope you're enjoying some sunshine, even if it's just on the inside.
Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the Card Crafter's Circle challenge this week. Stripe Me Silly!
Our wonderful sponsor this week is Stamp Art Design by Kathryne and I've used her fabulous Gracie image and sentiment. I've coloured her up with pencil crayons and yes, if you look at her dress, I made a huge booboo! After my card was all done I accidentally dropped a stamp pad on her! Eeeek! Any suggestions on how to cover that? I used some wonderful stripped paper by Recollections and some corrigated cardboard with a gel corner with a piece of matching paper under it. That wonderful doily is a Cherry Lynn die that I earned by selling some of my crocheted flowers! Then after popping up the sentiment I added a bunch of pearls (ready made and liquid).
I hope you have time to join us this week, stripes are so much fun and who wouldn't want to win some wonderful digis by Stamp Art Design by Kathryne? Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle to see some wonderful inspiration from my fellow designers!
Have a beautiful day!

The leaves have just begun to pop this last few days and the butterflies have been popping out to! How very Delightful!

Time for Tea!
Do any of you enjoy tea parties? I do, and I love the femininity of it. I'm not a hugely girly girl, but I do love flowers and pretty things....like tea cups and saucers! My mother gave me some beautiful cups and saucers, one for each of us girls (my daughters and I) and they have a cherished place in our kitchen! Some of my favourite memories growing up was having a cup of tea with my parents. I so cherish them and the wonderful memories that I have with them!
Today's challenge at Card Crafter's Circle is Pink and Yellow and so I've combined some lovely papers from Teresa Collins, a doily, some lace and pearled flowers. The wonderful tea cup image called Tea Time Stacked Tea Cups and is from our fabulous sponsor Floppy Latte Designs.

Feeling Purple Today!
I chose to work with this wonderful Meet Anneke image and coloured her with my pencil crayons. I matted her to some purple paper with a bit of inking. Then I cut panels of some Recollections paper and then embossed the background purple paper to add some texture. The ribbon is from my collection and I added a new crocheted double flower (they're so easy to make!) and added a deep purple brad to the centre. I did leave off a sentiment so that this card could be used for various reasons.
Well, it's quite simple but I enjoyed putting it together! I do hope you'll come join us at Delightful Inspiration {from the heart}!
Thank you for dropping by! Have a great day!

Sweet Little One and Blanket
I just love to make things for brand new little people! Today I have a card and crocheted blanket to share with you. For my card, I've used an image from From the Heart Stamps called Bedtime for Bear. I've coloured it up with pencil crayons and watercolour markers. I layered it over a lovely doily and papers from my stash. The ripple ribbon is from Stampin' Up and the border is created with my Fiscars punch. The I added some rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
Now, what little baby doesn't need a soft blanket to snuggle with? So I've crocheted this one to go with the card.
I love this pattern, because it's quite heavy and yet with the holes gives nice airflow on a warm day.
So since I don't know any baby girls being born soon, I'll be tucking this duo away for now.
Thank you for dropping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello everyone! It's time for the races and everyone is bringing out their glamour and high fashion for the event. The horses are at the starting gates and everyone is high spirited! It's a day at the races and we'd love to see you at the Card Crafter's Circle! The greens are trimmed, the flowers are abundant and the sound of excited horses and people alike mingle in ones' ear.
For my card I've used an image by Whoopsie Daisy (girl with parasol). I know the hats are all the rave, but this little girl has her darling parasol to show off. I've used some wonderful papers from American Crafts (it's the sparkly base) and Recollections. The Stamps are from Studio G and I added some fun high gloss bubble flowers to the banner and rhinestones to her shoes.
While I was out on the trip, we drove past Ellis Park which is a huge race track so I thought you might like to see it. Here it is as seen from the highway!
This week we have a wonderful sponsor and they are offering $10 worth of digis to the winner! Click on the button below to check out the selection!
Please join us for a day at the races over at the Card Crafter's Circle! We'd love the company!

Fabulous Fabric!
I have used an image from our wonderful sponsor Milk Coffee called Lisabeth with sunflower.
I have coloured her up with pencil crayons and attached her to the fabric with tape and glue. I put her in a bit of a frame with the buttons and bow.
My girls and I have tons of little bits of fabric from different projects so I think I'll be trying this again!
So, now it's your turn, you don't have to sew your fabric, just add it to your creation whatever way you'd like!
Check out the teams creations for you at Card Crafter's Circle! We'd love to see what you come up with!

Thinking of You!
I have been thinking of all my wonderful followers and I thank the Lord each day for being to share with you the things I enjoy creating! God Bless!
Are you ready for another wonderful sketch from Seems A Little Sketchy? Today we have another great sketch for you to use: Remember you can flip it, turn it whatever as long as we can see the sketch in your creation!
For my creation, I used a wonderful image called Barefoot Amy from one one of our great sponsors Crafty Sentiments Designs. I coloured her with my pencil crayons and added a log for her to sit on in her meadow. The papers are from Momenta and the lacy felt border is from Forever in Time. I've lightly inked the edges of the papers and added the sentiment from Inkadinkado. For a finishing touch I added the butterflies (EK Success punch) inked and centered with a rhinestone each. Then It still felt like something was missing so I added rhinestones to the felt flowers and ladybug.
We would love for you to share with is your take on this sketch. Do come join us at Seems A Little Sketchy! The challenge runs for two weeks so you've lots of time to play with it!

This I put over some great paper from Making Memories and then I added some fun ribbon from Stampin' Up and my collection, butterflies are EK Success punches and some misc rhinestones. Then for a finishing touch I added this great birthday sentiment from Lil' Inkers. If you're looking for some great images check out the Designed 2 Delight store, you won't be disappointed.
