Some Sweet Candy!

Hello Friends! Today I have something sweet to share with you! - well one of you.... it's some candy.  The end of August was my two year blogaversary and the beginning of September was my birthday....so I'm a bit behind.

So today I have a few little sweet things to put up for candy.
1 pad of patterned paper by ATD
2 Snoesjes stamps
1 pkg faceted gems
1 pkg of metal stickers
and a bunch of crocheted flowers ( I'll add a few more than are seen)

I'm not one for rules, so if you could just leave me a comment on this post I'll be drawing a winner from there October 13th...that's two weeks from today.  If you'd like to pop a pic on your sidebar that would be great, but in no way needed to be eligible for the prize.

Have a beautiful day!

Always & Forever

Hi Friends!  Today we have a fun new challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle, it's Blue Velvet - to use fabric.  I have used this sweet image called Sunbonnet Seamstress from our delightful sponsor Digi Darla.  I have used this great quilty paper from Dear Lizzy and a swatch of yellow patterned fabric with cotton ribbon.  Then I added a layered flower (yellow fabric with green mulberry paper, and a flourish to highlight the corner.  The lovely sentiment is by my immensely talented teamie Sara Sherlock from Folded Paper & Painted Pixels.

Do come play with us at Card Crafter's Circle!

You are a Friend!

Hello Friends! Today I have a card that I made for a dear friend of mine.  I used this wonderful bear frame from Deedee's Digis and you can find it HERE!  I then went looking for a sentiment that spoke what was on my heart.  I've chosen this one from TLC  and placed it in this sweet frame.
I used some lovely papers from My Mind's Eye, some crocheted lace and faux stitching.  Then I made some flowers to match and added buttons to their centres.  I then had an empty space between the flowers and the sweet bear, so I thought a butterfly would fit nicely (I used one from Inkadinkado)...then I also added one up beside the sentiment to.   I also finished the inside of the card, which I rarely do and thought it turned out nicely.

I hope you're having a beautiful day!
I'm sharing this over at Word Art Wednesday, do go check out their wonderful inspiration!

My Mind's Eye

Hello Friends! Today I have a set of 5 cards that I've made with some sentiments from Clearly Digi Stamps.  The set is called Melody of Truth, and I've used five of the sentiments.
I just love to have cards that share about the the joy of knowing Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour.  If you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ, know that he so very much wants to bless you and give you the joy of eternal salvation.
I had some My Mind's Eye card bases and then got some new My Mind's Eye papers and thought it was time I used the together.  I then added these wonderful sentiments and some crocheted flowers with buttons.  I really had fun with this set and will no doubt do more like them.
Just a note, Clearly Digi Stamps is closing at the end of this month and so if you'd like to grab some of their wonderful images.....pop over to the store and there's even a discount code for you to use!
And now, here are the rest of the cards. Enjoy!
I would like to share these with Word Art Wednesday.

Raggedy Baby Boy!

Hi Everyone! It's time for the kids this week at the Card Crafter's Circle and the challenge this week is Toys - Children's Cards.  I have used this adorable Raggedy Baby Boy from our delightful sponsor Stamp Art Design by Kathryne.

For my card I must say that much of my inspiration past the challenge theme came from my dear friend Bonnie from Grandma Bonnie's Place.  One is the cute factor...which she's amazing at! also the crocheted edging around the sweet toy!  I paper pierced the holes and then just did a simple stitch all the way around (works great on heavier cardstock).  Then I added some great papers from DCWV, some ribbon and a couple ribbon tags and bronze pearls. The sentiment is from Lil' Inkers and I attached it with a star brad.
Tada! Thank you so much for stopping by! Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle and join us in the fun!

Do You Love to Travel?

Happy Friday to you!  Do you love to do some traveling? Well my family has been doing a bit travelling lately to visit family.  One of my favourite things with this is taking gifts as well, just because.  Now for our challenge this week at Card Crafter's Circle is Checks and Tartan.  I found this delightful paper and the map made me think of travelling, and the tartan made me think of Scotland?  Wouldn't it be lovely to go there for a trip!  I also thought that this truck needed some special presents and couldn't settle on an image for it, so I made some out of washi tape and marker. :)
This week's sponsor is the wonderful Floppy Latte's and the image I'm using from them is called Toy Truck.  Cute huh!

We'd love to see your Checks and Tartan creations at the Card Crafter's Circle and do pop over to see the great inspiration from my fellow designers!

Simple Thank You

Good Morning! I just was playing around with some new goodies I have and thought I'd do some stamping - with ink.   I used some paper by My Mind's Eye...added the sentiment and the birdhouse with the flowers and then coloured the flowers.  I thought for awhile and concluded that the decorative corner would look nice. SO that's it...just a bit more inking around the outside and voila!  Something fun and something that fits in the mail easily!
I'm sharing this with Word Art Wednesday.
Hope you're all enjoying a beautiful day! Here it's super windy....working up to blow all the leaves off the trees! :)

Hello Everyone! Today I have a card that I made using the From the Heart Stamps's image of the month 'Bobbing for Apples" .  Such a fun activity that I truly don't think you ever get too old to enjoy!  I used some papers Lucky Lacy's and My Mind's Eye together with some bling and a sentiment from TLC.
I'm entering this in the Image of the Month challenge at Delightful Inspiration {from the heart}.

Believe on His Name

God is such a great God that he is willing to adopt us as sons and daughters! Amazing isn't it!  How incredible the safety and security of knowing that you are in His family, and under His protection.  The world around us is in dangerous times....but those who are safe in Christ Jesus the Lord have nothing to fear.  Are you part of His family? Are you resting in Christ Jesus the Lord for your salvation?  If not I urge you to consider your soul and eternity.
"behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." - 2 Corinthians  6:2b
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."- Romans 10 :9
Nothing is sweeter than knowing Christ Jesus the Lord! Will you trust him?

For my card I've created using some wonderful word art shared at Word Art Wednesday a bit ago.  I popped it up on some sweet paper by My Mind's Eye and put on a My Mind's Eye card base.  Then I added a metal clip, a rhinestone flourish and a metal butterfly sticker.
Thank you so much for coming by to see me.  I'm sharing this card with Word Art Wednesday.
Have a beautiful day! and if you know the Lord Jesus, do be waiting for His return....it won't be long!

This is my second post today so please do scroll down and see my creation for the Card Crafter's Circle!

Alaska Trip

Hello Everyone! I just want to say that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth just yet....I've just been enjoying some time with family in Alaska.  Thankfully Blogger was so kind as to work well while I was gone.
We had a wonderful time in Alaska visiting family and checking out some of the wonderful places there around Anchorage.  The trip along the Alaska highway from Whitehorse was incredible as well.  We visited the Alaska Zoo, Beluga Point (and we did see some whales off in the distance) and then to Flattop Mountain where the above pic is from.  With me is my wonderful husband and to the far left of the pic against the horizon is Mt McKinley.  I know it looks like a cloud, but I promise that it's a mountain.
Some changes are coming on my blog, I am having to say goodbye to designing for From the Heart Stamps. I truly love Faith's images, but I'm going to have to cut back on my fun to focus on my family and homeschooling (going to be three of them this fall).  I hope to have time to craft and I'll be sharing it here with you as I always do, but it might be a bit more sparatic.  Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement I so love all your comments and e-mails!
Well, I'll leave you with some more pics of beautiful Alaska! (although the first pic is Kluane Lake in Yukon, Canada)
