SPRINGTIME!!!! at Card Crafter's Circle

Are any of you ready for springtime???? Sometimes I dream about it and then wake up to -35 C and a half a foot of snow????? You know it's gonna be a bad day! hehehehe  Well, I do love winter, but up here in the Yukon I usually start dreaming about Spring this time of year, so this weeks challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle is just perfect!
For my card I've chosen to use this adorable bumble bee called Honeypot Larry from Digital Delights and I printed it out, cut out each piece and glued them together.  I've been educated that it's for a digital cutting machine......oh well. It was an experience! LOL

I must say that it's far to tedious for me to do again....I'll just get one of their amazingly cute digis instead! But, I must say that I like how it turned out with it's cute honey pot!  I've also glittered the wings, which is hard to see in the picture.  sorry.  Then I added some great papers from K& Company, created a nice blue cloud with my spellbinders die and a sun that I added some ric rac to with tiny brads.  A bit of ribbon and the flowers are from my collection with matching tiny brads for the centres.  Then finally, I've added this wonderful sentiment from Sara at Folded Paper and Printed Pixels.
Are you dreaming about Spring? We'd love to see your creations! Pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle for some more great inspirations and challenge details!
Thanks for dropping by!

Something New and Fun!

Hello again, I'd love to share with you the rest of my projects that I created for Cindy Coutt's Season of Love online card class!  It was a wonderful experience for me and if you are looking for some great inspiration and teaching I encourage you to pop over to see Cindy and the new class that she is offering!
For this masculine card I've used just black and white.  The image is form Marianne Designs, paper from Make it Special Crafts with a touch of black tied ribbon.  For the inside, I used a sentiment from Simon Says.
For this next project, I must say this was a challenge for me! But I love how it turned out! I have never made a treat box before, and my family thinks I should make more.  I think they just want the treats! LOL I used a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers and tweaked it to suit me.  I used a piece of K & Company paper that's been scalloped with my picture rounder punch and the flower is also stamped on and cut out from the same paper.  Then I added a glittery gem sticker for the centre of the flower and some ribbon from my stash to tie it together!
Thank you very much for stopping by! I pray you have a great creative day!

Humble Anneke - Love You More

Hi! I'd love to share with you a card that I've made with the wonderful sketch that Faith at Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} is challenging us with.

For my card I've use Faith's new little girl Humble Anneke, coloured her with pencil crayons and popped her up atop some girly layers.  I added a touch of lace to act as a divider and a crocheted flower and button with a bling flourish to finish it off.  Oh, and the sweet sentiment comes in the set with her!!!
Oh and one little difference to this picture that I've taken....can you see it?...I've learned to use photo shop to add a watermark! This watermark Faith has so generously made for each of her design team. I just love it!  Anyhow....another "something new" for me.
Well, if you like sketches, this one is great to work with! Would love for you to join us! If you'd love a new wonderful digi to work with to, pop over to the From the Heart Stamps shop and get one!  The challenge runs until Sunday! Check out the Delightful Inspiration {form the heart} for all the details and some inspiration!

For Being You!

Today I have a card to share with you that I've made at the Cindy Coutt's Season of Love card class.  It's a thank you card and I'll be sharing this over at Sentimental Sundays thank you challenge.    I've missed playing in their challenges and I'm glad I've been able to this time!
For my card, I've created a background with a Hero Arts stamp.  Then I added a great ribbon from Stampin' Up and this flower from Heidi Grace which I coloured the inside with my yellow prisma pencil crayon.  Then I added my sentiment from Whimsy Stamps and two small flowers from my collection.  When I was done this I did a bit with the inside.  The inside sentiment is from Tina Wenke and the flower and bottom flourish is from Heidi Grace.  I added a touch of yellow to all the flower centers.

Thank you so much for dropping by! I love to share with you my creations! Have a wonderful day!

Loveth at All TImes

Hello Friends, today I'd like to share with you some Love!  It's the Valentine blog hop from Delightful Inspiration From the Heart.  We'd love for you to join us!
For my card I've used this sweet image Smiling Owls found HERE at From the Heart Stamps. I've coloured them up with pencil crayons and layered them over some corrigated cardboard and papers from my stash.  With a touch of ribbon and rhinestones and the sentiment that comes with the image it's finished.
One must remember that friends are some of the most wonderful gifts we have.  For me, my very best friend here on earth is my husband.  The man who loves me for me.  We don't do Valentine's Day in our home, but on the 11th of February is the anniversary of the day my husband asked me to marry him.  That's our special LOVE day.  Plus I do my very best to make sure I give tons of lovin' to all my children, family and friends.
Have you hugged someone today?

Tiffany in the Daffodils

Hello! Today starts another wonderful challenge at Card Crafter's Circle! This time is Yellow and Green.  Yellow and green make me think of spring and daffodils.  Now in the stores they are bringing out the forced bulbs and making me think of growing things again.  Although I still have about 3 more months till spring is here in the Yukon.
Anyhoo, back to my card.   I have used the delighful Tiffany in victorian gown by our sponsor Milk Coffee.   They are offering 3 images to the winner and one image for each of the top 3!!!

For my card, I've added a row of daffodil bunches I found at The Bird's Cards -free. and then used this wonderful sentiment by Hannelie at Desert Diva found free HERE!  With a bit of lace and ribbon with a couple rhinestones, it make me want to go for a walk among some flowers!  Oh, and a closer look at this lovely lady. Come join us at the Card Crafter's Circle for some fun! Have a great day!
