Do you know anyone feeling down today? Thankfully my family is healthy again. So I'll be saving this for another occasion. I have created this card with an image and sentiment from Designed 2 Delight. Found HERE I've coloured with my pencil crayons and layered it over some papers from Clear Dollar Stamps and DCWV. With a touch of gauze and pearls. Simple yet I pray that it'll cheer up someone sometime.

Need a Hug Dearie?
HUGS, HUGS, HUGS!!! is all children when they're sick want. Today it's all about children at Card Crafter's Circle this week! I have chosen a sweet image by Dearie Dolls called Lil' Nurse and paired it with a sentiment form Create with TLC. I cut out the image with my Spellbinders scalloped oval die for some added shape. The paper is from my collection and I used a swatch of gauze from my medicine cabinet. Then four rhinestones for the corners. Nice and simple. I find that children like to take things apart so there isn't much to fiddle with here. Plus if it will fit in an envelope nicely if it's to be mailed out.
Dearie Dolls creator is giving away some wonderful images and she also has a fabulous blog full of freebies HERE if you'd like one of her images to play along with us. I can tell you now......you won't be able to decide on just one! LOL Do leave her some lovin' if you snag her images.
There is some great inspiring creations HERE and we'd love for you to share with us yours! The Card Crafter's Circle is all about sharing what we love to create!
This is also my second post for the day so do scroll down and check out the cards I've created for the Designed 2 Delight Blog Hop this month!

Feel My Hug!
I think that the best things to have when I'm not feeling well are hugs! My inspiration this card is "get well/feel better" from the For Fun challenge- which I missed, but wanted to acknowledge them for their part! Then the Sentimental Sundays's challenge Die Cuts. Since I didn't have any dies, I went out and found this lovely oval scalloped one. So excited - my first die set!!!
I used the die to cut out my sweet image by Sliekje- get well girl and the sentiment from TLC. I layered the image on some blue cardstock that I had leftover from making my base, and then I inked the edges of the sentiment. I placed this on some embossed paper and framed it with a lovely blue ric rac!(the sentiment is popped up) Then the corners looked empty so I added some bright pink buttons to compliment her bouquet with some yellow embroidery thread tied on. For a final touch I used a crystal laquer to bring out the vase. Unfortunately it didn't bring it out in the picture. I hope this will bring a hug and a smile to whomever get it!
Thanks so much for dropping by!

A Good Cup of Tea
This card is inspired by Digi My World's Challenge- Light up my life. My friends light up my life and I love to visit over a good cup of tea and a treat! lol
For this card I've used Digi My World's image - tea time. I coloured her with my prismacolour pencil crayons and paper pieced her hat. The hat looked too plain so I added a band and a flower to it. I layered her on some wonderful papers from ATD and Stampin' Up. I added some crochet ribbon and the sentiment is one I found free online. Sorry I don't remember where. I cut out some little butterflies with my EK Success punch and inked the edges a bit. I put a little pearl on each of the butterflies and sorry but I noticed in the pic that one of them has slipped. It's fixed now!
Thanks so much for dropping by! Hope you find time to sit and chat with friends this week!
Also do scroll down for my other post that I made today for a peek!

For the Love of Band-aids
I pray none of you will be needing this card! I made it for the challenge over at Mel Jen's Designs - to use a brad(s). I love to have cards like this on hand, because accidents happen without warning! Especially to me. My husband would love to ban me from all hot and sharp objects at times. I figure that every scar has a story to tell.
I had lots of fun creating this card. I layered some great bandaid paper with some gauze, circle mesh and of course the wonderful sentiment by Mel Jen's Designs (I added some inking to the sentiment rubbed out since pain always seems to stem outwards). To top it off I added a couple of yellow square brads to two of the corners and a delightful mini bandaid with a smile. I always add the smile to my little guys bandaids and it seems to make everything ok.
Supplies:
Stamps: Mel Jen's Get Well Sentiment
Papers: Stampin' Up and Hot off the Press Inc.
Ink: Ink it Up- cranberry ; prismacolour pencil crayons
Accessories: 2 yellow brads; gauze; mini bandaid

Fall is in the Air
Here is the second half of that wonderful Fall is in the Air set. Even though all of the leaves are off of our trees here in the Yukon, I just love fall leaves! I coloured her with my prismacolours and also sponged some ink around her as well. I love fall cranberries so I added her to some cranberry cardstock with red rhinestones. I added her to a lovely leaf pile and printed out the same sentiment that I used for the boy card. As the snow is starting to cover over the ground and trees here, I still love to remember the vibrant colours of fall.
I am entering this card in Digi My World's Challenge: - It's Fall They have wonderful digi's and great challenges so I invite you all to come and join in. Also Stampin' Sisters in Christ - Use fall colours
Supplies:

It Comes With The Season
Today my family is under the weather. It seems that at each change in the seasons we all get a lovely cold! I created this card with two challenges in mind. One is the Designed 2 Delight freebie challenge from which this beautiful tree digi is from! and then the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge to use Time.
I have been wanting to use this beautiful leaf paper that I bought at a garage sale and thought now was the time. Paired with a couple of blocks from an old calender I thought it was a nice backdrop for the lovely tree. The cute sentiment I snagged from the wonderful TLC free sentiments - Here. I pray you all don't get this lovely bug that has us buying lots of Kleenex and sipping gallons of tea!
Supplies:
Stamps: Designed 2 Delight-tree; TLC sentiment
Papers: Stampin'Up cardstock; misc patterned paper; pieces of an old calender
Ink: Tim Holtz distress ink- old paper
Accessories: Little stitched buttons
