Pretty Butterfly

Hello Friends!
Today I have a card to share with you that I've made for the great new challenge at Card Crafter's Circle!  It's a sketch challenge!

I have used a beautiful stamp from Eureka Stamps and it's called Butterfly and Sunflower.

I have used some pretty papers from my collection and a lovely bird nest paper from Ephemera's Vintage Garden.
I added some lace and some embroidery thread and a couple of crocheted flowers to match.  Then I added some sweet metal stickers that I got at Michael's.
Thank you so much for dropping by! Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle to check out the great inspiration and to join in the fun!
Have a great day!

Spot of Tea

Hi Friends! Do you enjoy a spot of tea?  I do and love most varieties.  Today I have a card to share with you that I've made for the Dotty for Spots challenge at Card Crafter's Circle this week.
I have used this sweet tea pot from our sponsor Eureka Stamps and coloured it with watercolour markers.

I have used the only feminine spotty paper I could find in my stash as a background which I added a green background stamp by Forever in Time.  I've added some lace, ribbon and pearls and then some faux stitching.  To finish it off I used a sentiment by Heidi Grace.
I do hope you have the time to pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle to see the wonderful inspiration there and join in the fun!
Sorry to have my card up so late, I ended up going on an impromptu camping trip with my family that came to visit, so I wasn't around the house for a few days.  Sadly they've gone home, visits never seem to last long enough. :(  It was a wonderful visit and we've lots of memories stored up in our hearts!
Thanks so much for dropping by!
I'm sharing this with Word Art Wednesday.

Card Crafter's Circle Sketch

Today is the beginning of a new challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle! It's sketch time and I encourage you to try it out!

Praise God he knows more than I do! I have so many times struggled with no knowing the future or understanding why certain things are allowed to happen.  Then I look at God's Word and verses like this just pop out at me!  God knows, and I need to rest in His wisdom and understanding which are far greater than my own.
During our family Bible time today we were reading through Genesis and the account of God's covenant that he made with Noah.  God in his wisdom and knowledge of all things future makes this covenant with Noah and mankind.  To not flood the earth entirely ever again.  To prosper Noah and mankind again.  Every time I see a rainbow, that covenant, that promise is declared!  God is Faithful!  and as He is faithful in his promise to never flood the entire earth again, he is faithful in His promise in His New Covenant; of his blood that pays the price for all sin.  By believing on the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross, repenting of our sin and turning to him we can be forgiven and receive eternal life!  What an incredible gracious God!  In his great understanding and wisdom from before the world and time, He made a way to save my soul!  How can I not trust in Him for my everyday struggles?  How can I not run to Him in my times of need?  He is there! As I rest in Him and learn of Him I am also learning how his thoughts and ways are so unlike all of the ones I see around me.  May I always grow in grace and knowledge of my Saviour Jesus Christ that I may understand his thoughts and ways and not my own or the ones of this fallen world we live in.  Looking forward to being in His presence forevermore!

For my card I have used this beautiful image called Butterfly and Sunflowers by our sponsor Eureka Stamps and a scripture passage word art created by Karen from Papercraft Memories.  The papers are from Marianne Designs and I added some great iridescent pearls.
Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle and see the wonderful inspiration from the design team!
I would like to share this card with Word Art Wednesday.

Do You Love Bugs?

Do you love bugs?  I only like the pretty ones! hehehe  This week we have a fabulous new challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle and it's all about Bugs Bugs Bugs!
This week my children and I were enjoying some time in our yard and we found a crystalis hanging just inside our shed door.  My children are dying of curiosity as to what it holds inside.  A few years ago we found a caterpillar in a head of lettuce from the store.  Since it was winter we tried to keep it alive inside and were able to watch it grow through the stages into a beautiful Moth.
Now my daughter is studying the stages of a mealworms live cycle and unlike me is enjoying caring or these little bugs! LOL  Usually I pride myself in having a bug free home, but with having children I'm learning to be a bit more lenient.
So for this week, we'd love to see your wonderful Bugs cards and hear your stories of bugs to if you'd like to share them. Come to the Card Crafter's Circle and join the fun!  Our fabulous sponsor Eureka Stamps is offering the prize and I've chosen this wonderful Texas Bluebonnets and Butterfly image to work with.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the wonderful things that God has created........even the bugs!
