Beauty is in Every Day

Hello!  I have been blessed to join in with Stephanie's Tea Cup Exchange again this year.
You can find the Exchange Reveal HERE

I received this amazing box from Marina.  She hardly used any packing for it was stuffed with goodies that kept everything in it's place and safe!  (The tea cup was packed well inside a box within the box though!)

I laid all the goodies out on a chair for you to see.
There is a wonderful cookbook, and some amazingly sweet cupcake papers.
I've never seen any so lovely!

Beautiful napkins and some treats for my doggie from her doggie!
Very thoughtful!

There was a lovely ball of spring yarn.

A wonderful array of tea and hot chocolate!
Then some yummy chocolate tea cookies.

A sweet little tea pot dish to hold tea bags and spoons.
I've always wanted one of these. :)

A great pair of oven mitts and a cute cupcake towel.

Then comes the tea cup.....and it's got my favourite bedding plant flower on it!
Lovely pansies!!!

It is an Elizabethan tea cup from England.
I thought it was even more fitting for my middle name is Elizabeth.

I pared it up with my pansy tea pot and plate (which is missing the cup)
so now it's a full set of pansies for me.

I tried the cinnamon spice with orange blossom she gave me first.
It's so delicious!

Then a wonderful card and sweet note from her.
I love all the thought and creativity she put into the package.
I'm so blessed!!!!

Now here is what I sent to Lynda in New Brunswick.

I found this sweet tea cup set and it came in a beautiful box.
It's called Blooms.

I made a couple doilies to go with her tea set.

I love that this tea cup has some sweet flowers in the inside to.
As you can see below, there is an array of colour and blooms all over.

I found some tea from the Northwest Territories,
containing much of what we have here in the Yukon.
Along with a box of Stash tea that had a few kinds to choose from.

She said she liked sewing so I made her a pin cushion, and also
she likes to crochet/knit so I sent along a ball of yarn to match things.

Lastly I made her a card with some bright roses.  To go along with my letter to her.

I had lots of fun putting together a package, and being able to meet new ladies.
Praying they each were blessed by this exchange as I am.

Delightful Tea Cup Exchange

Hello!  Today I have some lovely things to share with you.

Stephanie over at The Enchanting Rose has organized a delightful Tea Cup Exchange of which I  participated in for the second time.

You get to send a fun package to someone you've never met before, and then receive a package from someone else that you've never met before.
It's a nice way too meet new people!

Above is a picture of the things I included in the package that I sent to a lady in Prince Edward Island.
Linda Shurki has a lovely blog:  Tintenfleck Studio

Above is a picture of the tea cup I found for Linda, and below is the back of the one foil package.
It's actually a postcard full of tea.

I made her a card to go along with her package and tried to find colours/papers to match her tea cup.

Now I received a delightful package from a Susan Houle who is from Alberta.
She loves the winter holiday and put together a package with that theme.
I don't observe christmas, but do enjoy winter!

This tea cup she sent me is an old one, that has a few signs of being used.  I love that...something that has a history behind it.
It is a Queen Anne bone china tea cup/ saucer from England.
It has a wonderful shape to the top of the tea cup and is nice to drink from!

She sent along a couple hot chocolate packages! So nice to try flavours I've never had before.

She sent this cute little pouch filled with a box of ice wine tea.
Never have had that either.

Then there is this beautiful fun tea towel.
I have it hanging in my kitchen now for only use with my tea cups.
~smiles~

Here is a picture of it all laid out with all the delightful teapots and teacups on it.

OH, and not to be forgotten, this package of blueberry tea.
I've never had this one before either and it's delicious!

Thank you for dropping by!  I pray you have a lovely day and perhaps some time to enjoy dropping by a few more places on the link up reveal you can find at:

Tea Time with New Friends

Hello!  I have something special to share with you today.  I have been apart of a wonderful tea exchange held by Stephanie over at The Enchanting Rose.

It is a wonderful exchange of tea sets/ mug sets with little gifts to another lady.  So I made two new friends...one that I sent a gift to, and one that sent a gift to me.

So I have lots of pictures to share with you today so I hope that you can take the time to scroll down.

To start with I'd like to share with you a few pictures of things that I included in the package I sent to Wendy Fletcher.  She has a charming blog called September Violets.

I found this lovely tea set that is quite out of the ordinary for tea cups.  I loved the shape of it and that it was so simple yet elegant.

You can better see the shape of the tea cup and saucer this way.

I heard she liked blue so I made a couple doilies to brighten up the set.

I figured she could use them with the tea set or on their own somewhere.

Then I found this wonderful tin and knew she loved nature.  I included some nice Earl Grey tea inside.

I also added some little chocolate dipped cookies just because they are nice with tea. :)  Then I added a handmade card and a little note.

Now I'd love to share with you the delightful package that I received from Judith Rogers from Lavender Cottage.  It was a wonderful thing to open.  She had so carefully wrapped everything up in blue tissue paper. :)   There was firstly a lovely hand towel that quickly made it to the handle on my kitchen fridge . Some spring napkins, some little card making floral strips, a cute bookmark, a beautiful journal, a package of wonderful tea, and a beautiful handmade card.  I must admit that I'm not a journal person, but the pages do come out very easily and so I have started using them to help me plan out my home making needs.  Brings a smile to my face to see the pretty paper!

All of the items were packaged inside this beautiful butterfly box!

I just adore the beautiful tea cup she sent me.  I love all the flowers on it, and the shape of the cup and saucer is just splendid!

Here is a look at the other side.

How fun that there are flowers on the inside of the cup to.  Then the saucer also has lovely pleats around the centre as well.

There was also this delightful container with an elegant song bird on top.

It was filled with yummy chocolates...and I can say yummy because I've eaten them. ~smiles~

Now I have a special box to store some precious things away.  Thank you so much Judith!

Oh, and I thought you might like to see all the kinds of tea that were included.

My children were just as excited about the tea cup exchange as I was, and we all picked out a tea cup (I got my new one.) and had a tea party!  We also each took sips of each others tea so we could try all the used flavours.

I want to also thank Stephanie for organizing this wonderful exchange that has included so many people from so many countries.  It's been wonderful to be apart of it.

Sharing this at the Enchanted Rose Reveal Linkup.  I encourage you to go there and see all the wonderful exchanges that have happened!
