When Pigs Fly!
It's time for another wonderful challenge over at Clearly iStamp and this Friday's challenge is What goes up must come down. It's about all those things you can find up in the air! For my card, I've used a set called Chutes and you can find it in the Clear Dollar Stamps Store, Here.
This is what I've come up with.
I used to have a professor in college who was famous for saying "When pigs fly!" Well, now they do! LOL For this card I've paper pieced the parachute and added ribbons to attach the sweet piggy! I've popped this over some handmade clouds that I added some faux stitching to. I added a cute Polka dot ribbon to compliment the chute and some pearls to go with the dots.
I could stop at just one this time so here's another.
We would love to have you play along with us. Do hop over to the Clearly iStamp blog and see some great inspiration from the Design Team!

What I Remember Best
Hello everyone! Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the Mother's Day/for Mothers challenge at Card Crafter's Circle. I have tons of wonderful memories of my mother growing up, and am blessed to still have her with me. My ultimate memory was how she would sit down with me and my brothers and teach us about Jesus and to trust in the Bible. I can still sing those songs she used to sing to us to. Praise the Lord Jesus that my parents were the ones to introduce me to the Saviour! Nothing in life is more important than that!
I saw this image at Dearie Dolls and knew I wanted to use it.
And what better place to have a comfy chair but in a living room.
I've coloured the image and fussy cut it. Then I popped it up in this room that I've created for it. The papers are from ATD Momenta and the lace from my collection. The rhinestones are from Forever in Time and the sticker from ATD Momenta for the pic framed with a lovely frame by Merci.
There is some incredible inspiration and fun at the Card Crafter's Circle, do come join us! This weeks sponsor is Mary Ellen from Dearie Dolls and the winner gets three digis of their choice from the ones the Design Team has used. I will tell you it'll be hard to choose! Now Dearie Dolls store is closed at the moment, but she has created a wonderful Dearie Dolls blog to share her art and they are all free! So do pop over HERE and leave her some love!
Have a great day and hope to see you there!

You Make My Heart Flutter
I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Today is my daughter's 13th birthday and this is a card that I've made for her (to be from her little brothers). I used her favourite set Charlie Daisy from Clear Dollar Stamps. I have coloured the image with my prismas and the butterflies with crayola markers. Yes, I did say crayola! they just had the colours I was wanting to make them a bit bolder. Then I added a border of green (punched with my EK success border punch. Then a layer of lovely butterflies DP and some cut out butterflies all from Charlie Daisy set as well. Then a swatch of orange ribbon, a flourish by Recollections and some small rhinestones from Hero Arts. The base cardstock is from Staples.
Thank you for dropping by! This is my second post today so do scroll down to see my bunny!
I am linking this card up with Seems A Little Sketchy since they have inspired the design.
Bunny Flowers
Are you flower lovers? I am! I love this time of the year when flowers start to emerge and give colour to the land! Our snow is almost gone here and the tulips in my flowerbed are about 3 inches tall with little buds coming! YEAH! They are an orange/yellow/purple mix hence the colour choice for this card. I've created this card for Mel Jen's -Ovals and then for For Fun -Non-Easter Bunny but it came out kinda like that so I won't be sharing it over there this time. I find that cards rarely come out like I have first envisioned them, but I still thought it was cute.
May you have a chance to see and enjoy some signs of spring and new life around you today!

Trust Also In Him
Hello, thanks for dropping by! I have a new card to share with you that I've made in honor of a dear friend of mine's birthday - Bonnie from Grandma Bonnie's Place! Trust also in Him! No matter what you come up against this next year, Trust in the Lord Jesus because He has your best interests at heart!
For this card I've used the scripture panel from Karen's Word Art at Papercraft Memories. I've added it to some old lace I found and some lovely pink flourish paper from K & Company. Then I added a soft beige ribbon/bow and charm. Then a small spray of flowers.
I truly know the peace of trusting in the Lord Jesus for each day. I used to go it on my own, but have found that there is nothing that compares to the peace I have found in trusting in my Lord Jesus for each step! Praise God for His incredible love for us!
I am sharing this card at Little Birdie Blessing -Scripture Thursday
