Annabelle Thinking of You

Today I have another card for Annabelle Stamps.  It is their second birthday challenge this week so hop on over to check out all their birthday celebrations.  This challenge is being hosted by Sue K and Stephanie.  The challenge is Blooms/Flowers.  Since I only have one Annabelle stamp at the moment and they like it if you use their stamps (although you don't have to) I thought I'd do another take on this image.
For this card I tried something new.  I used a couple of little rivets shaped like flowers and tied some ribbon through them.  It was really easy to do I don't know why I never tried them before.  I love trying new things!
I also added some glitter to some of the flowers on the patterned paper and also to the flower's anthers but it doesn't show in the photo.

Supplies:
Image/Stamp: Annabelle birthday flower digi stamp
Kate Pullen's Thinking of You (About.com free printable)
Papers:          ATD Momenta and misc cardstock
Accessories:  Flower rivets, DecoArt Twinkles writer in Silver, & some misc ribbon

AnnaBelle Flowers

Hello Everyone! Today I am entering a challenge with AnnaBelle Stamps as part of their birthday celebrations.  They are having multiple challenges so I invite you to come join in the festivities and chances to win some wonderful prizes! Here is the first.
Sue W. and Kylie are issuing a 1,2,3, challenge:-
1. One New Stamp: Preferably one from AnnaBelle Stamps.
2. Die cuts/ Punches
3. Bling
Here is my card that I made with a wonderful floral image from AnnaBelle Stamps.  I used a floral punch from EK Success that my daughter just bought me for my birthday and added a rhinestone for their centers.  I then added flourishes for the bling aspect.  They are from Forever in Time and are foil embossed.   My papers are from ATD Momenta.  I had lots of fun creating this card and am eager to see what other challenges are upcoming!

Lime Kitty

Today I have a card that I made with a stamp from Designed 2 Delight.  They have wonderful challenges and I thought I'd give it a go.  Feel free to come on over to their site and check out all the great creating going on! I coloured this sweet kitty with different browns to give him a bit of an alley cat look and added him to a few fun patterned papers(From ATD Momenta and K & Company).  The green ribbon and star clip were gifts and I have been looking for just the right place to use it.  I think this is a great all occasion card!

Pumpkin Patch

Hi again, this is my second post of the day.  Please scroll down to see my Red Leaf card.
I love pumpkins, because they turn into pumpkin pies for me!  I saw this patterned paper and it made me think of a pumpkin patch.  I looked in my digi stamps and found this great pumpkin and sentiment by DDH's Hello Seasons set.  I coloured it with my prismacolor pencil crayons, cut it out and backed it with some orange cardstock.  I added some orange plaid ribbon by Portfolia and secured it with an orange brad.  I thought the side of the pumpkin looked lonely so I added three more brads. I added some distressing just because, you often get a bit ruffed up climbing through a pumpkin patch looking for just the right one!

Red Fall

Hi, I'm back with another fall card.  I love all the colour fall adds to the world before the snow comes and everything turns white.  Here in the Yukon it is white for a long time! So needless to say I love colour! By far I love the red leaves best and so I thought I'd colour this leaf red. It is a DDH image from their Luscious Leaves set and I used prismacolour pencil crayons to colour it with.  I added some red polka dot ribbon from modern@home and some white lacy ribbon from my stash.  The little red leaf in the bow is a brad that I used to secure the bow to the card.  And if that wasn't enough, I added three different buttons ( I love buttons!).  They have a bit of sparkle to them. (hard to tell by the picture though.)
I hope you enjoy the colour wherever you live.
Here's a close up of the brad and bow.  In this picture you can see that I have added just a bit of ink to the edges of the brown cardstock just to give it more of a blended look.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Sunflower

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share with you my sweet sunflower card.  I love this image by DDH Designs and have finally gotten to use it.  I chose not to add a sentiment to it so that it could be used for any occasion.  I used papers from ATD Momenta and the ribbon is from Portafolia.  I added three brown rhinestones and then cut out one of the little butterflies to fill the space above the sunflower.  I actually printed off two digi sunflowers (like I saw Hannah Clark do and absolutely loved it!).  I coloured both of them and then layered one over the other after cutting a few of the petals apart.  With a little bit of distressing I am really pleased how this card turned out!
Here is a close-up on the petals, since it is hard to tell from the full picture.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
