For My Father-In-Law
I would like to share with you a card that I made for my father-in-law that I forgot to post earlier. I used some simple My Mind's Eye paper with some burlap fabric. I printed off this wonderful image from Shoregirl Creations inked the edges a bit more and then added the sentiment I printed off the computer and some buttons.
A simple card for a wonderful man that we love very much!

You're Sew Sweet!
Hello Friends! I just wanted to share a card that I made for my very bestest friend who's birthday is today. She is such a blessing to me and accepts me for just who I am. She prays for me and shares with me and is just like a sister. She loves sewing machines so hense the image and the buttons! I used some scrap papers and a misc leaf cutout that I had in my extras stash. I layered the ribbon and added a couple tags to fill in the space above the image. This wonderful sewing machine is from Shoregirl Creations and you can find it on her freebie page HERE!
I'd love to share this with Word Art Wednesday this week. Do pop over to see the wonderful inspiration they have shared.

The Anchor
Do you have an anchor? A few days ago my husband met a gentleman and they are becoming friends. This man after being in our home a bit commented that we must have a anchor as a family for the peace he seen here. It was a joy for my husband to share with him The Anchor of our souls. All but one of my children have also trusted in this anchor and it is such a blessing! There are many storms our souls will face from birth to death, but one thing is sure. The Lord Jesus if he is your anchor will hold you fast through any and every storm! I know this from experience and praise Him for the wonderful security of knowing Him and the salvation he gives by faith in his son Christ Jesus the Lord and what he has done for us on the cross.
This is a card that I made with this man in mind, and when my husband saw it he said I was never to sell this and that he wanted me to give it to him someday! So, I'm making another just like it to put away for a 'surprise'.
For this card I've used a boat in the bottle from Esther at Shoregirl Creations. I cut it out, inked the edges with some brown ink and coloured the waves just a bit with a pencil crayon. Then I paired it with this word art verse from Karen at Papercraft Memories. I've added layers of corrugated cardboard, a splash patterned paper from my collection and some Elmers braiding cord. With a finishing touch of an inkadinkadoo corner stamp.
I would like to share this is at Word Art Wednesday.
Thank you so much for dropping by to see me today! God Bless!

Be Careful For Nothing
I love this scripture and the reminder to be careful for nothing...to continue in prayer. Such a comfort it is that the Lord Jesus is always there every time we call out to Him!
I have created this card for the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday. I am using the free word art they've shared this week.
For this card I've used a rose image that was shared by Abby on her blog Little Birdie Blessings. I paired it with some script that I found through Shoregirl Creations. You can find it HERE it's by Melstampz and it can be sized in many different ways. I layered the panels with cardstock from Staples and a bow and charm from my collection. I also inked the scripture with some Tim Holtz -old paper.
Thanks for stopping by!
