Girls Best Friend

Who says that diamonds are a girls best friend? My daughter says that horses are a girls best friend!

Today begins a brand new challenge over at Seems A Little Sketchy! and I'd love to invite you to play along! Just pop over HERE for the details.

For my card I've used an image from Delicious Doodles called Friends Forever and coloured it up with my pencil crayons. The papers are from Reminisce and the sentiment is from Studio G. The ribbon is from my stash. Oh and the star brad was silver so I inked it up with bronze to match and some bronze pearls from Forever in Time.

Salvation FULL & FREE!

"But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

Romans 5:8-10

So what does this mean?

God proved his love for us, sinners, through the death of his sinless Son. This death was not accidental. It was sacrificial and necessary for the reconciliation of sinners. The penalty for sin is death. However, there is hope in Christ! His death on the cross paid the price for your sins and mine and brings forgiveness from and peace with God. Christ's resurrection and present ministry in heaven keep us saved. Once you have accepted this precious gift, you can never lose it! AMEN!
