Fur-ever in my Heart
Hi! I'm back with another card that I was able to put together today. This precious little girl is called Ali's Kitten from From the Heart Stamps. She came with this adorable sentiment and I added to this sweet postcard base from Daydream Designs. I used some lovely misc papers, postal decorative scissors and some wonderful mini ric rac that I got at a garage sale. Oh, plus a sweet little heart button!
Thanks so much for dropping by! Hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm sharing this with Word Art Wednesday this week.

Hello Friend!
Hello Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful day today! The sun is shining and my soul sings for this is the day that the Lord hath made!
Today I have a couple of cards that I've been able to create this week. I've been missing being in my craft room, but life is full, and God is good! I've used this super sweet pig image called Hamlet PigWit Think Spring from From the Heart Stamps. This pig just makes me smile! and those daffodils are so cheerful! I've coloured the image with pencil crayons and markers and then after cutting it out added some card stock to the back and used some scissors to add the outer detail. The papers are from My Mind's Eye and other than a touch of inking it's a simple card. One that'll fit in an envelope nicely!
I also found that I couldn't make just one of these, so here is the other card that I made with the same image.
Very Fun! This card I used Stampin' Up papers. Thank you for dropping by to see me! I'm sharing this card with From the Heart Stamps in their Freebie of the Month Challenge (progressive challenge) HERE!
I'm also sharing these cards with Word Art Wednesday as well!
I'm also sharing these cards with Sentimental Sundays to!
Have a beautiful day!

My First Quilt
Hi Again! Yes two posts in one day....I know you're all surprised! I just happened to find the time to finish this quilt that I've been working on. It was simple in that the top was material from a patchwork skirt that I had. I cut it in half and sewed it together to make the length. (and yes, the skirt didn't fit....because I'm aware that that's a lot of material. LOL) Then I added the batting and the backing is actually a sheet curtain that I found at the local recycling free store! * I love finding such cool things! I am not one for precision, but am totally delighted to have made something useful for my family! I used a zig zag stitch to do the inner stitching just because I thought it was prettier that way. Here are a couple more pics for you. One so you can see how big it is against my queen bed, and the other of the backing. Thank you for dropping by! I just printed off some sweet FTHS digis today so I hope to be card making this week at some point! :)
Some Flowery Hair Clips
Things have been busy around here, just not too much crafty-wise. My kids are working on projects for a geography fair (kinda like a science fair) and they are excited about it. They are doing Vietnam, Armenia, and Bermuda. There will be three days of showings considering the amount of kids....so a few at a time. Two are presenting tomorrow and the other next week. It's going to be really interesting to see the different perspectives on all these countries! My son was just taken by the lighthouses of Bermuda....so that's his focus.
Have a beautiful week! May you feel some warm sunshine on your faces and thank the Lord for each new day!

A Bit of This and That
Hello Everyone! Sorry that I've been so negligent in posting lately. I have been doing things! My days have been full of teaching and projects and I've been able to enjoy a bit of time to myself today. So here are some pics of things that have been taking up my time. Lots of Pictures!
I've been helping my daughter make an apron (I gave her the kit for her birthday) and I think she did a fabulous job! Below is a close up of one of the pockets that she added a flower to.
I helped Jessica make this half apron for a friend out of the leftover material from her project.
Then I thought that the girls might each like a pair of fancy hair clips to help keep the hair out of their eyes while they were cooking.
Me and My boys! I'm so blessed with these two little men!
My oldest daughter crocheting a hat for someone special! She hates her picture being taken, but I snuck in with the camera already turned on so she was taken by surprise! LOL
Thank you all for spending the time to pop by! I hope you're having a beautiful day! Praise God for his blessings to us!
Here are some cards that I've just made recently. It's still fun to make cards along with all the other things I love to do! I'm in the process of making a quilt. I'll be posting pics of it when it's finished.
