We Remember!

November 11th is an important day for the world to remember!  It is the day that World War II ended.  A day to remember all those who fought for freedom there and for those who lost their lives on the battlefields.  It's hard to think of that happening, but as battles rage around our world, we should still remember those who are still fighting for similar reasons.  Poppies grow where once men fought, and it is these beautiful flowers that remind us of the price that was paid.  Thank you to the soldiers who fight for freedom!
Today begins a new challenge over at the Card Crafter's Circle, and I'd like to invite you to share with us! You can find the details HERE!
This week we have a wonderful prize put together by our very own Pauline, and it's pop over to take a peek!
For my card I've used an image by Becky's Place and I've coloured it up with my pencil crayons.  The die cut is made with Spellbinders scallop oval and the little one on the tag is from a Fiscars oval die.  I added some lace and satin ribbon, some rhinestones, distressing and inking.  I hope you like it!
Have a wonderful day!

This is beautiful!! Remembrance Day is a special day! It's sad to think of all that lost their lives, but it makes us so thankful for the freedom we enjoy! I miss watching the service in Ottawa now that I'm south of the border.
