A Little Candle Lamp

Hello! Thank you for dropping by!  It's been getting colder here in the Yukon and the ice is forming on the sides of the river (now covered in snow).  It's so beautiful and I love the sound of the water gurgling around under the ice and coming out in bubbles. :)

Above is a sweet little candle lamp that I found at the dump free store.  It has a couple little chips in it, but it doesn't interfere with it's usefulness.  We often use extra candles in our home as the darkness takes over a bit more each day.  Candlelight adds a nice soft gentle touch of coziness to the home.

Those little details that we add to our homes are sometimes the perfect touches that make it homey and welcoming to not just your own family, but to all those who enter through its door.

Please enjoy scrolling down through the pictures.

Good Morning Jennifer!
I love your little candle lamp and I'm sure you will use it often. We have a few old fashion lanterns hanging on our walls and have used them a time or two when we've lost power and such. Something so cozy about that flickering of light. :)
Wow...your pictures of the ice and water are amazing. I can't believe you are getting snow, but then again you live in Alaska. What an amazing place! One day, my hubby and I would love to visit there.
Enjoy your week!
Hugs, Amy

Lol it was so pretty then with no snow! ;) It's pretty now but the ice isn't like that anymore. And the candle lamp suits our table at dinner. :)
