A Bushel and A Peck.

Hi! Me again here to share with  you a card that I made for a few different reasons.  One is that I received this adorable image called Apple Market from Faith at From the Heart Stamps through the Freebie of the Month challenge.  Another is that for my birthday my parents gave me this gorgeous doily frame stamp. Then my dear friend gifted me some wonderful crochet thread and matching buttons (along with other sweets).  Also another sweet friend of mine gave me a set of new Spectrum Noir markers.  Thus,  I've put together a card with all of these elements as well as some of my favourite paper pads by My Mind's Eye.  The inside is one of the sentiments from the FTHS set and it says I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.  It is so sweet!  This card is on the way to my beloved Mom for her birthday!

I'm At It Again!

Hi Friends! I'm back at it again!  My crafty spot is finally functional again and I'm enjoying being able to create cards again.  My new space is the crafty spot for cards, sewing and mending, crocheting, and lots more crafty fun!  Here are a couple of cards that I've put together: the one above for my wonderful brother's birthday and the other for an old friend who's just had her first baby! Both for boys so I tried to keep them simple.

I used a My Mind's Eye card base and added from there.  I love those card bases to put together quick cards!

Well here is a pic of my new space that I share with all my kids now that it's in the middle of the entry/furnace/ bathroom/laundry and downstairs bedrooms. :)  So a great communal space!

Home Sweet Home

Hello everyone! I just wanted to pop in here and show you all the place that my family is now calling home.  It's just temporary but a great retreat from the city for almost two years.
We just love it and are starting to feel at home with most things unpacked.
I'm so thankful to the Lord for providing such beautiful weather for moving in.  As you will see in the last pic it snowed yesterday and I'm glad we're all cozy inside!

I love this front door!  It is very welcoming to me. :)

I was so glad to find the perfect spot for my favourite planter.  The flowers are still beautiful even after lots of frost and snow. :)

This is the view of the river beside our place from up on the little hill behind the house.

I snapped some pics of my kids on their first day of school on Monday. :) Made it just before the snow!
