Riches of His Grace

Hi All! It's time for another great I {heart} sketch over at Delightful Inspiration from the Heart!
Today I've used this wonderful sentiment from Graceful Sentiments found HERE at the From the Heart Stamps Store.  I used papers from K & Company and a matching chipboard butterfly.  For some special touches I added a corner metal piece and some bronze pearls with a touch of lace as well.
May you enjoy the riches of God's grace today and if you don't know him personally yet, I pray that you seek him while he may be found and find the amazing peace and joy that comes from knowing Him!

Have a beautiful day and do drop by the Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} blog to see some wonderful inspiration from my talented team members!

Clearly Digi Stamps July Blog Hop!

HI! Time for another fabulous blog hop with Clearly Digi Stamps! This month's theme is CAS - Clean And Simple at the Clearly iStamp blog!
There are digi sets up for grabs.  Each design team's blog on the hop is giving away the set that they used so do comment all the way through!
So here are my cards that I've created to share with you.  I used the Books and Apples set because I just love it and because I made cards for my girls as they finished up their lessons from another season of homeschool.  You can find it at the Clearly Dig Stamps Store HERE!

I have used the same image and coloured them with markers to get a real bold colour.  The top paper is from my stash and the second is a digi paper combo from the set.  Now, it doesn't come black and white, my printer actually messed up but I loved the look. I used the same sentiment for each card but there are two that come with the set.   Do check out the set below to see all the wonderful things it contains!

Now this is a blog hop so here is the list of all the wonderful hops for you.  If you started with me don't forget to go back to the Clearly i Stamp Blog so you don't miss any of the stops and chances to win a new set to play with!

Kitty in Fall

Hi friends! Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the great new sketch challenge over at the Card Crafter's Circle!  The dates are a bit off, so just ignore that and have fun with the sketch!

For my card I've used this wonderful new image from Digi Darla's and coloured it with my pencil crayons.  I just love cats but unfortunately I'm allergic to them and have to keep my distance.  The funny thing is they seem to sense this and head straight for me! LOL
On my card I've also used a wonderful new embossing folder and some fabulous fall leaves, a brad to hold the leaves together and some twine.  The sentiment is from Tina Wenke.
I hope you're all having a wonderful day!  I know my card is a fall one, but I really am enjoying summer still....even with the heat! :)  So if you're holed up in your nice cool craft room and want some more inspiration...just pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle and check out the design teams creations!

Pitter Patter of Little Feet

Hi Friends! I was wanting a baby card so I pulled this wonderful digi set out and printed off a pre-coloured image and sentiment.  The set is called Dangles and can be found HERE at the Clearly Digi Stamps store.    I used the wonderful digi paper that comes with the set and added some wonderful lace and orange ribbon!  oh, and the pearls to finish it off!
I love the pitter patter of little feet, something about it says precious to me!

I also would like to share with you a card that I made using the new Little Miracles set that was just released at the Clearly Digi Stamps Store.    I was so wanting to play with this set!

I used the outline version and coloured it with watercolour markers. Oh, and I layered the sentiment over the image.  Then I cut around the image with my decorative scissors, popped it over some paper by Stampin' Up and some crocheted ribbon.  Then for a special touch I added a few sweet buttons!
I would like to share this card with the ladies at Word Art Wednesday.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope you have a beautiful day!

Hope this brightens someones day!
I'd like to share this with Word Art Wednesday this week!

Thoughts and Prayers

Hi Everyone! It's sketch time over at Delightful Inspiration {from the heart}! I have also used some beautiful new paper from My Mind's Eye that I received from a talented teamies blog Candy! Do pop over to her blog....it's Sara at Folded Paper & Printed Pixels, she has another candy this month to!
I have also used some fun washi tape and stickles on the flowers.  I made it nice and flat so that it'll go in the mail easily.  Thinking of all of you that follow me and pray that you are well and that you are being touched by the truth and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ today!
Have a beautiful day and if you're interested, do pop over to join in the wonderful sketch challenge at the Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} blog.

Clearly Digi Stamps July Release!

Hi Everyone! Today is the July Release from Clearly Digi Stamps! It's a wonderful one so have yourself a peek!
I have made a couple of samples for you.  First up here is a card that I've created with the Such a Crab set.  I love this little hermit crab and I've coloured him with pencil crayons.  The paper I got at the Dollar Store and the sentiment (that comes with the set) is just perfect! It's a great set, see below all the goodies  that come with.

For my second card I've used the adorable little bookworm.  From the Time for School set.  I've coloured it up with watercolour markers and popped him up over some great papers from my stash. The sentiment is also from my stash and I'm not sure where it originally came from.  I did think that it was perfect with this little worm, because- well books are our friends and take us to many different places!

Thank you so much for peeking at my creations! There are many more wonderful sets being showcased by the design team at the Clearly i Stamp blog so do pop over and check them all out!

Lily of the Valley

Hello Friends, I have a card to share with you today that I've made for my Mom.  She loves the lilly of the valley flowers and also used to sing this hymn which has a special place in my heart.
I have used some papers by Graphic 45 called Secret Garden collection, along with some lace, a couple crocheted flowers, a great old button (actually from my Mom, I wonder if she'll remember it.) and some pearls.  I hope you enjoy this and I hope that she'll get this in the mail soon.

  1. I have found a friend in Jesus, He’s everything to me,
    He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;
    The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see
    All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.
    In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay;
    He tells me every care on Him to roll.
    • Refrain:
      He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
      He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.
  2. He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne;
    In temptation He’s my strong and mighty tow’r;
    I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn
    From my heart and now He keeps me by His pow’r.
    Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore,
    Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.
  3. He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,
    While I live by faith and do His blessed will;
    A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,
    From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.
    Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessed face,
    Where rivers of delight shall ever roll.
  4. -Charles W. Fry
  5. You can find more info on this beautiful Hymn and have a listen HERE!

Do you know this hymn?  I am so strengthened by it, as it is a reminder that the Lord Jesus is my stay, the one that has saved and forgiven me and the one in whom I can rest all my cares at His feet.  What a marvellous Saviour, what a caring God!
I am sharing this at Word Art Wednesday this week.

Loving Thoughts

Hello Friends! Today I have a card to share with you using the new sketch from the Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} blog I {heart} sketches.
I have used  an older image called Loving Thoughts Bouquet (that I don't believe is available anymore but tons of other wonderful floral ones are!) and the sentiment from the From the Heart Stamps set Graceful Sentiments.  I have coloured my image with watercolour markers and then fussy cut it.  The doily is made with a Cherry Lynn Die and then I layered up some ribbon and buttons.
Thinking of you all and praying that you all are safe and have a beautiful day!
Do pop over to the Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} blog to see some wonderful inspiration and join us in the fun!

You're the Best!

I have a card to share with you today that I made using this wonderful Charlie Fence image from Clearly Digi Stamps.  It is a wonderful set and I love his expression.
I added a sign for him to hold with a sentiment from Tina Wenke and some rhinestones.  The paper in the backdrop is inked a bit to show clouds.  I can tell that this technique needs some practice on my part! hehehe
I hope you're all having a great day and thank you for taking the time to drop by to see me! I hope you also pop over to the Clearly Digi Stamps and take a look around at some of the wonderful sets they have to offer.  Plus if you're interested, there are some wonderful challenges offered at the Clearly iStamp blog and a great camping set is up for grabs!

Time for some Cool!

Hi All! Time for some cool! For those of you enduring tons of heat, here is something cool to look at.  Today begins a new challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle and it's Ice Baby Ice -summer coolness or winter frosties, you take your pick!  I've used this wonderful image called Winter Bliss by Michelle Perkett Studios and coloured it with watercolour markers.  I love snow and especially when I know that it's a long way off! hehehe

The sentiment I used is from a wonderful Simon Says Stamps set called Terra's Penguins Have Style.  The papers I used are from Recollections as well, with a border created with my Rockies decorative scissors.
Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle for some fantastic inspiration and to join along with us!

Do You Love Manly Frogs?

Here's my Manly Frog called Carl - I Heart You from Scribbles Designs.  Do check out Scribbles Designs for some great digis! I've coloured him with pencil crayons and then popped him up over a homemade lily pad.  The papers from my stash, but I thought it was fun and characterized the movement of air and water and reeds that you find in ponds.  The sentiment I just grabbed from a folder of left over digis and I'm not sure where it's from.  Then I added some green rhinestones for a final touch.
There's a Masculine card challenge going on over at Scribbles Designs Blog....do hop over there and check it out!
