I don't know what got into my head today, but I just wasn't interested in making a card today, so I thought I'd try to decorate a frame. I actually have been starting to put up more scripture around the house (Other than our memory verse board) and I just love the scripture word art that Karen makes and shares on her blog Papercraft Memories.
I just love this verse because it puts me in the right perspective first thing in the morning. My prayer is that I keep my focus on the Lord Jesus Christ from morning to night!
For my project I printed out this word art and it took me a couple of tries to get it just the right size. Then after popping it in the frame (an Ikea one found at a garage sale) I thought the colour of the frame complimented the colour in the rose so I chose not to cover it up too much. I glued on a swatch of lace and some flowers (a gift from a friend) and a couple of small lace ribbons. I then went rummaging through my collection of "stuff" and pulled out this great little "love" plate and stuck it to the frame as well. At this point I felt that if I added anything else it would be too much. I now have this in my livingroom.
I'm sharing this over at Word Art Wednesday, a wonderful place of encouragement.

Want to Swing?
I just love to swing! Do you? I just saw this wonderful image and knew she had to be up in the air! Today there is a new wonderful challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle and it's all about construction. I've never really created these kinda cards so here's my effort! It was so much fun that perhaps I'll be doing more of these construction cards. There's so much inspiration at the Card Crafter's Blog.....it's enough to spur anyone on!
This week we are being sponsored by the incredible Milk Coffee Designs. The randomly drawn challenge winner will receive their choice of 3 Milk Coffee images! Then....get this....The wonderful designers at Milk Coffee, will also provide one image to each of our chosen Top 3! Don't you want to play?
Well for my card I've used Lisabeth at the swing by Milk Coffee. I've coloured her with my prismas, fussy cut out the image and hung her with some fine lace ribbon. To create her airy scene I made a window with my Creative Memories oval cutting tool and then added some fun cloud paper to the background. I figured that the base would look best as grass so I brought out my EK Success border punch and used it to create some lovely softness. I thought it needed more dimension so i added an extra fold in there to hold the grass apart. Then I added a touch of dark inking around the edge of the blue sky and some lovely felt daisies from my stash. I saw this wonderful sentiment in my TLC folder and thought that it would be perfect for this scene. I cut out the sentiment with my CM oval cutting tool as well.
Would you like to see more angles? Here you go.
And another.
Thank you so much for dropping by to see me and perhaps I'll see you at the Card Crafter's Circle!

Through Christ
Great to see you! Today I have a card that I've made to share over at Word Art Wednesdays. Through all the struggles of life it is a blessing to know that Christ is my strength and keeps me going.
For my card this time, I've used an image by Sliekje and coloured it with my prismas. I have combined this sweet scene with some lovely papers from ATD Momenta and a pink satin ribbon. The verse I printed out on my computer and inked the edges lightly with blue ink from Colour Box. Just a simple card but I hope you enjoy it! Have a wonderful day!

Are You Feeling Sketchy?
Hi! We've another great sketch for you at Seems A Little Sketchy this week.
Isn't it great! Here's what I've come up with.
I have used a Whoopsie Daisy image and coloured her with my Prismas. I combined her with some wonderful papers by ATD Momenta which I've inked a bit with my Tim Holtz -bundled sage. The ribbon is by So Facile and I added three floral eyelets from Portafolia. The extra butterflies I have cut out of the design paper. I haven't added a sentiment.....yet. I wanted to have this in my stash for any occasion.
Well, now it's your turn and I would love to see what you do with the sketch. There are some wonderful prizes to be had so pop on over to Seems A Little Sketchy to check out all the details and incredible inspiration from the Design Team!

Happily Ever After......
Do you have a happily ever after story? I do....I've been married close to 16 years now and even though there have been tons of rough seas to navigate, by God's grace I can say that I am so blessed!
Today I have a wedding card to share with you that I've created for this weeks challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. Do come join us HERE, June is the wedding month around where I'm from. (Although I broke the mold and got married in August.)
I have used a wonderful lady from Woopsie Daisy. They are our wonderful sponsor this week and who wouldn't want to win some of their fabulous images?
For the card I've cut the image out with a scalloped oval die and then matted it to some blue cardstock and cut around it with some decorative scissors. I popped this over a layer of embossed white and tucked a little spray of toule in under the one corner. For the other corner I've put together a mini bouquet and then added some pearls for charm. The sentiment I found free online through Pinterest. Although I truthfully struggle with elegant wedding cards, my lovely teamies said I pulled it off. Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle if not to play just to see the wonderful creations my teamies have created for your viewing pleasure! I'm sure you'll want to play along! See you there!

Designed 2 Delight Blog Hop!
Hello Everyone! Today I would love to share with you some creations that I've made with some images of the new releases by Faith at Designed 2 Delight! They can be seen HERE! They are all incredible and I encourage you to pop in to see the amazing inspiration from my team-mates! (There's a list at the end of the post.) All of the images are now available in the shop HERE....I'm sure you'll want to add at least one to your collection!
For my effort, I've used this sweet image called "Buzzin' By". If coloured it with my prismas and matted it to some great deep purple paper by K& Company. The Yellow panel is embossed with my new baby's breath embossing folder by Cuttlebug and layered up with some design paper by K&Company as well. I added some ribbon tags attached with blue polka dot brads from The Paper Studio.
Plus I made these two other cards to add to the mix of inspiration!
For this card I've used this cute image called "need a lift" and it can be found HERE. I matted it and layered it with some cute papers from ATD Momenta and a sentiment by Lil Inkers. For a finishing touch I've added mini rhinestones to the flowers.
My final card is with an image called "loving thoughts" and can be found HERE! I have coloured it with my pencil crayons, inked the edges with yellow and matted it to some green cardstock like the card base (which is from Staples). I popped this up over a piece of an old straw hat and some cute papers by Memory Makers that I separated into sections. I added the red bow and the red pearls to the corners to finish this one off.

Be Careful For Nothing
I love this scripture and the reminder to be careful for nothing...to continue in prayer. Such a comfort it is that the Lord Jesus is always there every time we call out to Him!
I have created this card for the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday. I am using the free word art they've shared this week.
For this card I've used a rose image that was shared by Abby on her blog Little Birdie Blessings. I paired it with some script that I found through Shoregirl Creations. You can find it HERE it's by Melstampz and it can be sized in many different ways. I layered the panels with cardstock from Staples and a bow and charm from my collection. I also inked the scripture with some Tim Holtz -old paper.
Thanks for stopping by!

Under the Sea
Have you ever dreamed what it would be like to live under the sea? When I was a little girl I though it would be great to swim like a fish and explore the colourful reefs. This was totally make believe since I lived in the Northwest Territories and we didn't have colourful reefs to even go look at. The little strings on these girls outfits made me think of dressing up as mermaids and checking out the goodies in the water. The whole image set is from KPM Doodles and is soooo cute! The paper is DCWV and cardstock is from my stash.
This week it's all about sentiments at Card Crafter's Circle and I couldn't find just the right sentiment in my collection to go with these fantastic girls so I paired two. The Happy from Heidi Grace and the Friend from Fiscars. For a different take I hung these wonderful sea goodies from ribbon, and added some glitter to the inked waves and the girls "tails".
Do you love sentiments? Please join us at Card Crafter's Circle and show us some of your favourite sentiments. This week we have a wonderful sponsor - KPM Doodles!

Garage Sale Time
Hi everyone, I just want to share with you all some fun cards that I've made for a garage sale this Saturday. I'm hoping to be able to sell at least a few cards so that I can put the money towards some music/horse lessons for my girls.
This first card is made using a wonderful ladybug image from MaryEllen's Dearie Dolls! If you haven't discovered her yet, you'll want to go check out her blog.....it's full of freebies! Below I did a close up of the bow and the tini tiny ladybug button that I've been saving for just the right card. (I've actually made two cards just the same!)
Then since I didn't have any new home cards I've put these together using some paper kits from Papercraft Inspirations. They just have incredible inspiration over there.
Thanks for dropping by. I love sharing what I'm making with you! Have a great day!

You Make Me Happy!
HI! I hope you're having a wonderful day! Today I have a card to share with you that I've made for the Seems A Little Sketchy Challlenge. This is my first card as a designer for them and love the first sketch we have to work with!
Isn't is fantastic? Well I had lots of fun with this! For my image I've chosen one from our wonderful sponsor Digi Doodle Shop
The image I chose is Daisy Girl and she can be found HERE. I had lots of fun colouring her with my Prismas and I tried to give her hat a bit of a textured look, like a straw hat. Then I layered her under some "grass" I created with my EKSuccess border punch and an oval frame I made with my cuttlebug and Spellbinders die set. The papers are from Magenta and cardstock from The Paper Company and the ribbon from Multicraft Imports. I chose a sentiment from TLC and then added some butterflies I made with my EK success butterfly punch. For a final touch I added some rhinestones.
Here are a couple more shots of the card for you!
Here's the inside.
Take care and we'd love to have you join us at Seems A Little Sketchy!

Mmmmm...Wild Blueberries
Mmmmmm...wild blueberries! Have you ever had any? I since I was a child have adored searching for and eating wild blueberries! You may wonder why I've used pink blossoms. Well.....that's because that's what they really look like! They are really so very dainty just like this image shows.
Today I've used a wonderful image by Designed 2 Delight called - Wild Blueberries and coloured it with my pencil crayons. Then I've matted it to some great green cardstock from the Dollar Store and tucked a cute sentiment by Heidi Grace under the one corner. All this I put onto a pre-made card base by My Mind's Eye and added some wonderful pink ribbons.
For this card I've decided to follow this wonderful sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches. Unfortunately I was too late to share it over there, but wanted to give them credit for the design.
Thanks so much for dropping by to see me! Hope you're having a wonderful day!

A New Heart
Praise God that he has given me a new heart with which to love Him with! Praise God for the gift of His Holy Spirit which leads and guides and expounds unto me the meaning in His Word.
So many times I've heard how the Lord is perfecting what we already have. The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ is giving us something better......something new!
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." -2 Corinthians 5:17
Have you believed on the name of Jesus for your salvation? Have you become a new creature? The Lord Jesus has a new heart and a new spirit waiting for you.......will you trust in Him?
I'm sharing this at Word Art Wednesday-scripture/encouragement
The wonderful scripture that I've used for my card is their free word art that they've offered and is created by Word Art by Karen. I've combined it with some lovely papers by Stampin' Up and some dark cardstock from the Dollar Store. (I've inked the edges of the papers with Pretty Colour green and Tim Holtz bundled sage inks.) The flowers and ribbon are from my collection and the rhinestones are Forever In Time.

Happy Birthday Ava
Well today I have some cards that I want to share with you that I've made just for fun. I snagged this sweet Ava image from Saturated Canary as a summer freebie! and couldn't colour up just one. I just love the big sweet eyes! So here are three pretty little girls with birthday greetings.
For this one I've used some more funky colours/patterns. Papers from my stash and ribbon is from Multi Craft Imports. The rhinestones are Forever In Time.
For this I used just shades of blue. The ran some blue paper through my Cuttlebug and it gave it some lovely flowers. The papers are from K&Company and the cardstock is from the Dollar Store. The decorative strip is from K&Company and the rhinestones are Forever In Time.
For the final one I used some lovely yellow and purple. The papers are from my stash and one is embossed with my new Baby's Breath embossing folder by Cuttlebug. The ribbon is from my collection and the rhinestones are from Forever In Time.
I'll be sharing this over at Just Keep On Creating- Anything Goes.

What Colour Do You Love?
Hello Everyone! Today is the beginning of another wonderful challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. It's to do a monochromatic card. The design team has a beautiful rainbow to share with you so do pop over to check them out and to be inspired to join us! Click HERE!
For my part I've chosen the colour blue....because that's my favourite! I've coloured this wonderful young lady with my prismas and added some dark blue marker to the wrist corsage for a deeper colour. I inked the edges with windflower blue ink and matted it to some cardstock from Stampin' Up. The lovely patterned paper is from K&Company and the pearl flourish is from Recollections. I created a bit of a corsage for her of flowers from my collection layered over some ribbon that I glued down in folds. I added a little circle tag from Portafolia and for a final touch I added some rhinestones to the corners and one to her hairbow. I'm going to be giving this card to a sweet young lady who's graduating from grade 7 and heading into the big world of High School. She's going to have a fun ceremony and dance at her school and has a dress all picked out to wear and I thought this was fitting. Plus she loves blue, just like me!
I don't know if you've noticed, but I do love designing with a primary colour often. How about you? Do come join us in our challenge, there are many colours in the rainbow to choose from! This week we are sponsored by the talented Stamp-N-Doodle and they are putting up a prize of two of their fabulous images for the winner!
Now for a final pic.....
Thanks for dropping by! I pray for each of you a day with vibrant colour!

Farewell For Fun
Here is a card I have to share with you as I wish farewell to For Fun Challenges. This is their last challenge before they close. The challenge is snowman.
I used this wonderful snowman image from Dearie Dolls and I've been wanting to use it! Such an adorable snowman helping his birdie friends do their laundry! Here is a link to her blog (it's full of freebies!!!) due to the fact that her store is closed for the moment.
I used markers to get into those tiny places, matted it to some blue cardstock and cut the edges with my "rockies" decorative scissors. Then I added some fake snow to the snowflake dots and the branches/arms. The paper is from Stampin' Up and cardstock from the Dollar Store. The sentiment is TLC. For a finishing touch I added these great felt snowflakes by Hero Arts.
I am sorry to hear they are leaving the scene, but I understand that changes need to be made. I'm so glad that I've been able to join in the challenge up to now! Take care Helen!
Love Song
Have you ever just found yourself singing a love song? Some days I'm just hit with the love of God that I find myself just singing away. God is soooo good to me and I'm so very blessed to be a subject of His amazing grace! Every morning I can look out my window and see the mountains and trees and birds in my yard. How amazing is this home God has given me!
Today I have a card that I've created with one of Faith's incredible at Designed 2 Delight. It's called Love Song and that's such a beautiful scene to me! Plus those dangly hearts are sweet!
For this card I've used a pre-made card base from My Mind's Eye, and layered my matted image and sentiment over it. The image I coloured with my prismas and then inked around the edges with Color Box blue. I matted it with two different pink cardstocks from my stash. The buttons are from my collection and to do something just a bit different I added a rhinestone to them.
Thank you from popping in to see me! May you find something today to sing to the Lord Jesus about!

The Future is just Beginning!
Hi again! This is my third post today...I'm sorry to pop them all on you at once. This is a card that I made for my best friends son who graduated last night from high school.
For me I always think of it as the future is just beginning, because that's when often one steps out on their own and things are fresh and new. I remember the excitement and trepidation at this step but thankfully I had the wonderful love and support of my family and the Lord Jesus to guide and direct me. I pray that this young man will meet the Saviour Christ Jesus and follow in His footsteps.
I'm going to be sharing this card with Vicki over at Stamp Smiles!

Let Your Light Shine!
For my first one I used green with a touch of pink. Papers are from K&Company and ATD Momenta. The ribbon is from Multicraft Imports and the buttons are from my collection. I used one of my most precious buttons that I just love and have been saving. I think it's just beautiful! This I'm sharing with Word Art Wednesdays.
For my second card I used some of the last of my favourite yellow patterned paper I have along with some bright satin ribbon from Multicraft Imports. Then the word art is inked with yellow around the edges, matted and added to the card. For a finishing touch I added some large deep yellow rhinestones.
This card I'm going to be sharing with Abby at Little Birdie Blessings -Scripture Thursday.
Thanks so much for dropping in to see me! Take Care and may your light for the Lord Jesus shine brightly that all may know the Father which is in Heaven!
