A Woman I'm Thankful For

I believe we all have a woman in our lives that has made an impact on who we are today!  As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, I look up to other older women in the faith and the lessons that they share.  I have a friend named Rose-Marie that I love hearing from (we live a long ways apart) and she always is encouraging and real with me.  She's such a blessing!
Titus 2:3 "The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;"
Each day is a day to learn and to put into practice those things learned from God's Word.
Today begins a wonderful new challenge at Scribbles Designs.  It is to make a card for Mother's or a special woman in your life.
I have used one of Sandy's beautiful flower images (Flower 2) and I actually coloured it with water based markers.  Then I used some distress in in broken china to ink the empty space.  The background is a fun embossing technique: you ink the folder and then emboss and the raised area is white, this I inked with another colour.  The sentiment is from Studio G and then I added a few ribbon layers.
We'd love to see your creations for the special ladies in your life! Do pop over to the Scribbles Designs Blog and see the wonderful inspiration that the design team has created for you and then check out the details of the challenge! Oh, and if you'd like to get an image from Sandy's store to play along (this is optional, but we love to see them) you can pick one up HERE at the Scribbles Store.
Have a wonderful day and don't forget to make time to tell these ladies that you love them!

I'd like to share this card with Word Art Wednesday.

God is SO GOOD to give us women who love and fear Him who teach us how to be good wives and mothers (and people). We are SO blessed. Thanks so much for stopping by to play along with us this week, and please know that I am always SO grateful to have you play along. I'm also very grateful that God sent YOU into my life because you are a blessing to me.

Only a couple weeks of schooling left here at our house until we're officially finished with curriculum for the school year. How about you?

Thanks for joining us, and may God bless your week with His goodness, love and provision. May we praise Him together for all He has done to bless and enrich our lives.
