Hi, I've got more cards to share with you! I've been really enjoying this class!
This is my apology card that I've made. I went with the sewing theme she had and since I didn't have a sewing machine stamp, I used a digi from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. I made my own spools, since I don't have a stamp for them either. I kinda like how they turned out though. Then with a couple of buttons, lace and a spare gold clothes pin, it all came together. Oh, the paper is from K & Company.
For the inside, I used a swatch of the same paper as the front, and a once again used a digi for the pin cushion. That's from Clear Dollar Stamps. Then, I wrote out the sentiments by hand, not great handwriting, but you get the idea.
I think it's so important to apologize when you've wronged someone. The Bible says that "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Matthew 6:14
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. " 1 John 1:2
May the Lord Jesus Christ be our example, to offer forgiveness readily to those who seek it and to humble ourselves and ask for it when it is needed.
I would like to share this card with the ladies at Word Art Wednesdays.

Ooooo how pretty! I love sewing themed cards, especially when they include a play on words! Love the buttons, lace, pin, and thread spools -- so cute!

Oh, Jennifer: I just LOVE this wonderful vintage sewing machine. It's just lovely! What a sweet card, and you know how very grateful I am for your participation in our challenges. I enjoy the sweet fellowship of your friendship, and praise God for you each time I get to come by and see your art. Thanks for being such a blessing to me, and to the challenge blog.
