Happy Birthday- Naturally!
Hi! I'd love to share a card that I've created for the challenge over at Stampin' Sister's In Christ - to use something natural. I've chosen to use part of an old straw hat and some twine (dyed dark blue). I chose an image from Birdie Brown -Dreamin' Birds , coloured them with my prismas and then matted it to some lovely deep yellow cardstock from Stampin' Up that I'd inked a bit with Tim Holtz old paper distress ink. I tied a bit of lovely twine around it and I layered this over a piece of an old straw hat and some inked paper from Stampin' Up. For a finishing touch I added some deep blue rhinestones form Forever in Time. I have added this lovely birthday stamp from Lil'Inkers to the mix to fit in to the great challenge going on over at Dutch Dare - Birthdays.

Cute! Cute! Cute! Love your "natural" item -- who would have thought of using an old straw hat?!
Happy Mother's Day to you!
So very cheerful, Jennifer! I really like that Birdie Brown image! Great find for the natural element! Lovely work, my friend!...Nancy :o)
This is just adorable, Jen. I love everything about it. You really went outside the box on this one and it came together beautifully. I love it when you "get so creative"!! LOL We don't have very good participation this week at WAW, and I hope you will link up. I hope next week is better.
Have a wonderful day with the kids tomorrow. You are wonderful Godly mother. Enjoy your day!
