Thoughts and Memories

This card I've made because of a tragedy here in my city.  It happened not far from my home, just about 3 blocks away.  A whole family is believed to have died of carbon monoxide poisoning.  How tragic, and sudden.   My daughter's best friend is friends with one of the relatives of the family and it has touched them deeply!  It is in times like these that I pray that people will turn to the Saviour Jesus Christ, for hope and comfort.
I have used Mel Jen's dandilion mouse since to me blowing dandilion seeds into the air are one of my most favorite memories as a child.  The sentiment is from Dee's Designs. I have used blues and cream paper from Stampin' Up and misc buttons from my collection, plus a rhinestone for the dandilion.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
LittleMissMuffet- Blues and Creams
Dutch Dare- Buttons Galore

I'm so sorry to hear what happened. I'm sure those in the family are hurting deeply and often that is when our heart is the most open to the Lord. I just prayed that you might be able to a blessing and encouragement at this time. Your card is definitely that!

That is such a scary situation. :-( We are not promised tomorrow, but we are promised a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. God has a plan for this that we may never see. I pray He blesses all those involved and touched by this.
Your card is sweet and heartfelt. I'll say it again Jennifer, your thoughtfulness of others is a blessing. :-) Hugs!

Oh my gosh, so sad. That is so tragic.

The sentiment is so gorgeous. Love the little brads and the glittery bits.

Thanks for joining the Little Miss Muffet - Blue's & Creams Challenge. Good luck!

I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy, Jennifer. My heart and prayers go out to the people of your town and the loved ones of this poor family, that they will be comforted in their grief and find new hope in the Lord. It is very kind and sensitive of you to make this card in their honor. That is one of my favorite Meljen's images, for the very same reason. You did it up so beautifully, and the greeting you chose is perfect. Thank you for sharing this today! :-)
