Life Is So Much Sweeter....

What would life be like if there were no ribbons or roses?  Not as nice I'd dare to say! Today is a new challenge over at the Card Crafter's Circle and we'd love to see your ribbons and roses!
For my card, I've used one of our sponsors images and I just love the welcoming look it gives this door.
Our sponsor this week is Happileigh Scrappin Designs.
Now I don't own a template for a door.  So I made my own from corrigated board and lined it with some screen mesh.  For my ribbon I just added a little bow to the top of the door, not to take away from the ribbon in the basket.
How wonderful and welcoming it would be to see a basket of roses on your door!  With this screen door, the scent of them could filter into the house!
Now as you can see, the door has a view and this is what is inside.
I added some ribbon around the door, to hide my work marks! Then I added the white panel with a rose flourish from Inkadinkado and the sentiment from TinaWenke.
I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at Card Crafter's Circle!  Do go see the wonderful inspiration from the ladies, make me want to go out and buy some roses, just to smell them!

What a gorgeous card, Jen. I had bought some of that chicken wire from Making Memories YEARS AGO, and i think it got put in a give-away pile, and now I'm regretting that move. Boo Hoo!! Well, your card is darling, as always. And of course, you KNOW I'm hoping you will link up and share with us this week at Word Art Wednesday, as it's always more fun when you can play along.

I enjoy visiting your sweet blog, and wanted to tell you that my friend Mary found a donor match for her kidney transplant. Surgery is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 23 so I really appreciate your adding her to your prayer list.

Hope you're having a blessed weekend. I know Andrew and I needed a homeschool break this weekend.

Blessings,
karen
