Happy Anniversary From the Air!

Hello Friends! Today I have a couple of cards to share with you that I've created for my parents.  Well the first got sent and the second is just tucked away.  It's their 40th anniversary soon and my brothers and I wanted to give them something special.  They'll be going on a hot air balloon ride hence the balloon and the tickets.  The second is a bit more girly so I thought it wouldn't be appropriate from my brothers and I.  So perhaps they'll get it at a later date. :)
Thank you so much for dropping by! Have a beautiful day!

Autumn Splendour

Hello Friends! Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the the new challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle - Autumn Splendour.  I have used this wonderful image Scarecrow and Pumpkins by our wonderful sponsor Robyn's Fetish.

With some from Momenta and some burlap and a few buttons and a misc sentiment stamp from my collection.
I also made a second card using Basket of Apples 2.  I used some great star paper and some buttons, and a sweet doily with a touch of ribbon.  I adore apples and actually just bought another bunch of them to make some more applesauce for the winter.  Do you love apples?

Thanks so much for dropping by to see me! I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy some of the Autumn Splendour around you (that is if you're not covered in snow like me! LOL)  DO check out the Card Crafter's Circle and the wonderful inspiration there!

Hey Y'all! Do you love pumpkins? I do, they taste just yummy!  This week at the Card Crafter's Circle we are looking for your pumpkin cards! Please come share with us!
For my card I've used this adorable Little Bear Pumpkin image from our delightful sponsor Stamp Art Design by Kathryne.

I used some fun fall papers by Recollections and a couple bright leaves, a leaf brad and some pearls for the corners.  I hope you're enjoying your fall and perhaps you've gotten a prize pumpkin from your garden!

Harvest Medley

Hello Friends! Today I have a card that I've created with the wonderful image called Harvest Medley from From The Heart Stamps freebie challenge.  I'm so glad that it's a month long challenge since it's taken me so long to get it put on a card.  I've coloured it up with my pencil crayons and layered it over some great My Mind's Eye papers.  I added some burlap and cream grosgrain ribbon and bronze pearls.

I know that some days I get discouraged when I don't see results from things I've hoped for....but God is in control and someday I'll see the big picture and go Aha! That's what the purpose and timing was for!
Have a beautiful day! Thank you for dropping by!

It's the Little Things

It's the little things that sometimes mean the most!  Whenever I've been feeling discouraged, I count my blessings.  It's amazing how many little things in my life are so important and I thank the Lord Jesus for them!
For my card today I've used this wonderful image by Faith at From the Heart Stamps and it's called Thimble Bouquet.  I've coloured it with my pencil crayons and added a touch of faux pearls to it.  I used some sweet paper from Momenta and a strip of punched cardstock with green ribbon.  Then I added a touch of faux stitching and a sweet crocheted flower.
Are you discouraged today?  Try counting your blessings.....you might find that you end up smiling!
Have a wonderful day!

Thoughts

Hi Everyone! It's time for another great challenge over at the Card Crafter's Circle! This week it's to use three embellishments (three different kinds).
So for my card I've used some lace, a wooden button and a pearl flourish (which got stuck higher than I wanted it, but would rip the paper when I tried to move it....so it's there! :) ).  The papers are from Momenta.
I have used this wonderful three blossoms image from Floppy Latte who is our wonderful sponsor this week!

Thank you so much for dropping by! I hope you have a beautiful day!
I'm sharing this with Word Art Wednesday this week.... I love their encouraging anything goes challenges!
I'm also sharing this with Lia Stamps - Shabby Chic challenge.

Sweet Morning Sketch

Hello! Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I've flipped and turned it for my card.  My sweet friend Jenee has given a twist for the sketch and that is to use a fancy die.  Well I used a wonderful new die with leaves along the edges, and have crocheted some scallops along them.  (Inspired by my wonderful friend Bonnie!)

I have coloured up a sweet Wryn from Tiddly Inks and fussy cut her out.  I used some lovely papers by Momenta along with some wonderful lacy edged paper I made using a Martha Stewart punch.  Then I added a sentiment by Inkadinkado and some rhinestones, and a crocheted flower.
I'm sharing this card at Word Art Wednesday to.

Thank you so much for dropping by to see me, I hope you have a beautiful day!

Fall Fun

Happy Fall Everyone! I hope you have some time to enjoy the wonderful colours and perhaps a hayride to!  Do tell me what your favourite things are about fall.  I actually love to lay on the forest floor and watch the leaves float down to me.  Pure delight to me!
I've created a simple card today and it is a cute wagon of children out on a hayride (stamp from inkadinkado) cut out with a wonderful new die cut from a dear friend :)  Then I popped it up over some fabric and a leaf.  Some small bronze pearls and the sentiment that goes with the wagon.
Have a beautiful day!
