There is Joy!

It's Wednesday again and time for another Word Art Wednesday challenge.

There are so many things to rejoice in and the Lord Jesus gives me so many opportunities to sing! The word art that they are supplying over at Word Art Wednesdays is the above Habukkuk 3:18 passage. Now you don't have to use this, just something encouraging or scripture related...any verse or passage is great!
For my part I've printed off the word art, inked the edges with Color Box blue and matted it to some lilac purple paper from The Paper Company. The DP is from DWCV and the lace is from my collection as is the button. I punched out some butterflies with my EK Success punch and inked their wings a bit, added a rhinestone to each and adhered them to the card.
I'm sharing this also over at Scripture Thursday! It's a wonderful place to share God's Word!

Salvation FULL & FREE!

"But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life."

Romans 5:8-10

So what does this mean?

God proved his love for us, sinners, through the death of his sinless Son. This death was not accidental. It was sacrificial and necessary for the reconciliation of sinners. The penalty for sin is death. However, there is hope in Christ! His death on the cross paid the price for your sins and mine and brings forgiveness from and peace with God. Christ's resurrection and present ministry in heaven keep us saved. Once you have accepted this precious gift, you can never lose it! AMEN!
