What's Black and White and Red All Over?

Today there's a blog hop over at Clearly iStamp with Clear Dollar Stamps.  The theme is What's black and white and red all over? For my card I have been wanting to use this beautiful butterfly set by Clear Dollar Stamps that you can find HERE.  The butterflies are all the same image and have been resized and the sentiment is from the set as well.  I wanted something simple to bring out the detailed lines these creatures have and this challenge was perfect for it! I printed out the images on Autumn Leaf white cardstock and then used a black marker to trace all the lines and colour the edges.  Then I also coloured the little dots on the edges of the wings with red marker.  I inked the edges of the sentiment with red ink and matted it to some black cardstock.  The butterflies have all been popped up with Fiskars glue dots to give dimention to the card. I used the same black marker to add the faux stitching around the edge and added some pearls to the corners.
There are many wonderful cards to see and get inspiration from plus a wonderful prize for a commenter of $25.00 to spend in digis at the Clear Dollar Store! The winner will be picked randomly from the comments so be sure to comment on all the hops along the way! The winner will be announced on Thursday February 23rd.  If you'd like to hop with us please start at Lori's blog and just follow the list. If you get lost, I've added the whole hop below!
