Today I have a card for the Digi My World Challenge - Giving Thanks. I chose their adorable butterfly digi since I love it and am thankful for the colour they bring to our yard all summer long. The wonderful sentiment is from Dee's Designs (a freebie - Here). She has a wonderful blog do go have a peek around and see all she's been creating. The moment I saw this patterned paper on TLC's blog (it's free) I knew it was meant for this sweet butterfly! I coloured the image with prismacolours (softening the outside lines) and then used Color Box ink (blue) to give the background a bit of a blue sky feel. I found this wonderful huge button in my collection and paired it with some fun ribbon from Mulicraft Imports. With the paper having little stitches on it I added some stitched light purple embroidery thread to the corners of the image and then sewed the button and ribbon onto the card with it as well. With just a bit of distressing around the edges, this card was an enjoyable one to create! Hope you like it.
I'm also entering this card in Sentimental Sundays Challenge - Thanksgiving/Thank You + a sentiment; and Designed 2 Delight's challenge - A thank you or thankful gift for a hostess or anyone.
