Today is the beginning of a new challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle! It's sketch time and I encourage you to try it out!
During our family Bible time today we were reading through Genesis and the account of God's covenant that he made with Noah. God in his wisdom and knowledge of all things future makes this covenant with Noah and mankind. To not flood the earth entirely ever again. To prosper Noah and mankind again. Every time I see a rainbow, that covenant, that promise is declared! God is Faithful! and as He is faithful in his promise to never flood the entire earth again, he is faithful in His promise in His New Covenant; of his blood that pays the price for all sin. By believing on the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross, repenting of our sin and turning to him we can be forgiven and receive eternal life! What an incredible gracious God! In his great understanding and wisdom from before the world and time, He made a way to save my soul! How can I not trust in Him for my everyday struggles? How can I not run to Him in my times of need? He is there! As I rest in Him and learn of Him I am also learning how his thoughts and ways are so unlike all of the ones I see around me. May I always grow in grace and knowledge of my Saviour Jesus Christ that I may understand his thoughts and ways and not my own or the ones of this fallen world we live in. Looking forward to being in His presence forevermore!
For my card I have used this beautiful image called Butterfly and Sunflowers by our sponsor Eureka Stamps and a scripture passage word art created by Karen from Papercraft Memories. The papers are from Marianne Designs and I added some great iridescent pearls.
Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle and see the wonderful inspiration from the design team!
I would like to share this card with Word Art Wednesday.
