Roses for my Bathroom

Hello!  Today I'd like to share with you some roses I now have for my bathroom. :)  Do you ever feel the need for some change?  Well I do and a my husband also as he mentioned getting a new shower curtain for the bathroom at some point.  I had it in the back of my mind for a bit.  Then one day I went to the thrift store and found this lovely curtain.  At first thought I was going to make it into a quilt, but then....it dawned on me that this would be perfect.  And I'd get to see it everyday.

I so love the roses and it has a bit of texture to it with the ripples.  I hung it up and then put a curtain liner behind it so it didn't get wet.  For two reasons: one so it wouldn't get stained, and two so you couldn't see through it when it was wet.  We have only one bathroom in our home and with all of us, sometimes there are more than just one person in the bathroom at a time.

Praying you have a splendid day! And if you have a moment, let me know what kind of shower curtains you like.  Cloth or plastic?

What a lovely shower curtain! I prefer the cloth kind myself -- mine is layers and layers of ruffles from top to bottom! (Though I did find a plastic one with a beautiful design I couldn't resist for the guest bath!)

I love your shower curtain! That print is lovely! I prefer cloth ones and I have several. When we built our house I bought s very expensive one and had that up for years and then I hot our thrift store and have found several cloth ones for very cheap, so I have built my collection up. I have one for each season! Sometimes it's nice to change things up...
I'll be changing up my living room next, as I get to go furniture shopping! Yay!

I hope you have a lovely week, my friend!

Hugs, Amy

Hello. Well anything ROSE is my favorite! I have a shower door on one shower and a cloth one on the other shower. But cloth is nice as you can change it out!
I also use shower curtain material to make things also. being frugal as you get so much material! Have a great week!

I have the EXACT same fabric but in a tablecloth! :) And I am for cloth shower curtains (lined with plastic like you did). I just think it is more attractive. Thanks for sharing with us on the Art of Home-Making Mondays :)
