Homemaker in Training

Hi there! Today I have a card for you so see that I made for the wonderful new challenge beginning today at the Card Crafter's Circle.  It's all about FOOD!
For me I love to bake and cook with my kids, and my daughter's are learning to be wonderful homemakers!  Whether you're a stay home homemaker or one that works outside of the home, these are wonderful skills to teach our daughters and sons.  (Yes, boys need these to so they can help out when needed!)  Today I've used this wonderful mother daughter image and the sweet pies from MellonHeadz Designs.
With some paper from K & Company and some Misc ribbon and a corner stamp from Heidi Grace.  This was just about finished.  Then I found this wonderful circle sentiment that I found in my collection and it's just fantastic!  I don't remember where I found it, so if you know do let me know!
I believe that all women are to be keepers of the home in the capacity that they are able to!  It is such a blessing to me to be a homemaker and to care for my family.  It is a joy to see my children learning to care for each other and to serve each other as unto the Lord Jesus.
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men"
- Colossians 3:23
Do you love to teach your children and others how to care for their homes? Do you love food? We'd love to have you share with us at the Card Crafter's Circle
Have a beautiful day!
I'd like to share this card with Word Art Wednesday this week!

If you do any checking I think you'll find that cooking skills are sadly lacking in our young women these days. My daughter teaches Bible study to a bunch of young adult women and she is about the only one in the group who can cook. I commend you for teaching your children. Adorable card! Hugs!

Lovely card! It always seems to surprise people when I have jam I've made, or bread I made by hand. It's sad that in our "nuke it" world, these skills are fading away.

This is the perfect card for you to make, Jen. I can just picture you in the kitchen teaching the girls how to roll out a pie crust and make a pie. YUM! This is just darling, and I'm so blessed to have you share with us in our challenge this week.
Hope all is well with you and your family. You're all in my prayers. Have a wonderful week in the Lord.
