In the Doghouse!

Hello, I've a sweet birthday card to share with you using a new sketch from Delightful Inspiration {from the heart}.  I kinda cropped mine since the image I printed out was larger than expected. Do any of you have that kind of problem?  It happens to me all the time!

For my card I've used this sweet image by From the Heart Stamps called in the doghouse.  There are different images in the set so do go check it out.  I used this one with the blank sign above this pup.  I coloured it up with my pencil crayons and then added some inking around the edges.  The papers are from K & Company and I used some bronze pearls and a misc sentiment from my stash.  I thought it would be great for a little boy.......perhaps my little boy who turns 5 at the end of April. sob!  They really do grow up too fast!
Well, do pop over to Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} and join in the sketch challenge.  A new one each Monday!  Love to see you there!

I love this little guy and the idea of doing the gems in a semi circle is genius! Will definitely be giving this sketch a go. Thanks for the idea!

Well your blog is just full of cuteness lately. This card made me smile because right now our beagle is "in the dog house" with us. Very nicely done, and you've used the sketch wonderfully.
