A Place To Lay My Head

Hello everyone, if you're still out there. :)  I know I've not been around.  I have been doing lots of crafting of all sorts.  So I'll be doing a few posts to share some of what I've been up to.

To start with, I was looking at a lady's blog the other day and she'd posted how she'd made some new pillowcases and added some lace for a sweet vintage touch.  So I thought I'd give it a try.  I had some material in my stash from here and there so I gave it a go.  This is what I came up with.

Then I came across some scraps of quilted material at the dump free store so I decided to make myself a couple new pot holders. :)

I do enjoy sewing and have a few projects on my list to complete.

Oh, and my sons were wanting new pillowcases to and picked out this material for themselves.

Hope you all are having a beautiful day! :)

What fun sewing projects -- I love the lace on the edge of the pillow cases - such a sweet touch!

I like them. Especially the cherries in ice cream bowls. :) But maybe the post should say, "A place to lay my Head" instead of "Heat." :))))))

How did I miss that you're back to posting?? Yay! Your pillow cases look great. I think the addition of the lace will make for sweeter dreams! :o)
