Cozy Winter Racoon

Hello Friends! Today I have a frosty card to share with you that I've created for the new challenge over at the Card Crafter's Circle - Thankful - Thank You.
I am so thankful for warm scarves, hats and mittens when the snow is falling and the temperatures plunge.  It snowed a bunch here today and that means more time out in the snow, shovelling and just trampling it down in our yard! :)

For my card I used this adorable Cozy Winter Racoon from MelJen's Designs and coloured him with pencil crayons and my new Spectrum Noir markers.  I also coloured some of the snowflakes and added some stickles to them and his nose.  The sentiment is a sticker that I added to white card stock and then matted with the card base colour.  Oh, and I added a decorative edge with some scissors. The background snowflake paper was a freebie online. (if any of you know who by, please feel free to refresh my memory!)
I hope you all are staying warm this winter! and perhaps enjoying some time in the snow, or just watching it fall from the warm side of the glass. :)

I also have a couple of pics to share of the hats that my older daughter and I made this past week.

She's so pretty. Those hats look nice and toasty warm. Your little raccoon is sweet. Maybe you could get him to help with the shoveling. :-) Hugs!

Adorable card. Little raccoon is just the cutest. Thinking I need one of those hats, myself. Despite living in the "sunny south" here in the USA, I get cold when the temperatures drop (smile)!! I would NEVER make it up there with you (grin)!

Your card is so very cute, Jennifer! I love that stitch you used for your hat and your precious flower looks great as an embellishment. What fun to be able to crochet with your daughter.
