Count Only the Sunny Hours

Welcome everyone to my blog, so glad that you dropped by!  Today I have a couple of cards to share with you for the challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle - Anniversary.
I created this card with my husband in mind, we celebrate the anniversary of our engagement each year (it's on Feb. 11th....so before the "Love" holiday)  So I used these two images from our sponsor Floppy Latte called Heart Branch and Love Note that seemed more suitable for that time of year.

With some lacy ribbon and some sweet papers from Dear Lizzy and a sentiment from Studio G it's quite simple.  But that's how he likes things.

I decided to make another card with one of the Floppy Latte image called Love Dove as well, just because I saw the image and creativity struck! LOL  So a little softer and a bit more girly.  On the image it says to only count the sunny hours....how often we focus on the clouds and rain.  As I look back on my marriage, I can see so many times that the sun shone brightly through the clouds and I can see how very blessed I am by my dear husband.  God knew just the man for me!

I'm sharing this second card with Word Art Wednesday.
Thank you so much for stopping by to see me! Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle blog and see the wonderful inspiration there!
Have a beautiful day!

Both cards are just lovely. My favorite, though, is the second with the doves -- beautiful colouring; beautiful paper; beautiful design. Totally wonderful work (both)!

Jennifer,
As our days shorten I have been thinking of you. Both cards are outstanding. The bleeding heart is just so beautifully placed. The hollyhocks also look so natural and you have used wonderful colors and layout. Thank you so much for posting your sweet art with us. Please know you are welcome to post up to five entries each week.
Blessings,

Your cards are always so beautiful, Jennifer, and I thank you for sharing with us in our challenge. I wanted to mention that God placed you and your family on my heart the other night, and I just stopped to pray for you all. I hope all is well. I always figure that when God causes me to think of someone randomly, it's because He wants me to pray for them, so I did. Thanks again for sharing your art and please know how much I appreciate you sharing with us.
Have a wonderful week!

Gorgeous card Jennifer. The doves are so pretty. The lace and flower are the perfect embellishment for this shabby card.
