Hi Friends, today I have a project that I wanted to share with you. I found this frame at the local recycling free store and added some simple embellishments. Then I added this scripture that I got from Karen at Papercraft Memories. It's not a Bible version I use, but the meaning isn't altered at all. All around us the world is calling us to embrace it's values and interests. As a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ one needs to seek to become more like Christ and less like the world. In that way we can know God's will for our lives. To become like Christ Jesus is the most important thing anyone can do after they are saved. It is a renewing of the mind....something I'm learning each day. It's a process of growing in your faith, and putting into practice what is being learned from time spent in God's Word. I am so thankful that I am able to have God's Word for myself and am able to read any time for as long as I want. God is so good! I often think of this hymn when I read this verse. The hymn is
Turn Your Eyes upon Jesus | Helen H. Lemmel
- Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Have a beautiful day!

So beautiful, Jennifer! Lovely to have that hanging in your home as a constant reminder! Love the Scripture, and the hymn as well! :o)
ReplyDeleteI love how you dressed up your frame! So very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! That frame is too cute and your sweet flowers look amazing on it. Wonderful alteration and a beautiful scripture Jennifer. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteLove your card Jennifer. I love your trademark of the crocheted flowers too!
ReplyDeleteStunning creation. Your crocheted flowers makes the frame very elegant.
ReplyDeleteI have learned to love putting the Word Art front and centre rather than a sentiment somewhere on the card. You are such a role model in leading with scripture. The colors and layout are quite beautiful. Thank you for posting with us.
