Are any of you ready for springtime???? Sometimes I dream about it and then wake up to -35 C and a half a foot of snow????? You know it's gonna be a bad day! hehehehe Well, I do love winter, but up here in the Yukon I usually start dreaming about Spring this time of year, so this weeks challenge at the Card Crafter's Circle is just perfect!
For my card I've chosen to use this adorable bumble bee called Honeypot Larry from Digital Delights and I printed it out, cut out each piece and glued them together. I've been educated that it's for a digital cutting machine......oh well. It was an experience! LOL
I must say that it's far to tedious for me to do again....I'll just get one of their amazingly cute digis instead! But, I must say that I like how it turned out with it's cute honey pot! I've also glittered the wings, which is hard to see in the picture. sorry. Then I added some great papers from K& Company, created a nice blue cloud with my spellbinders die and a sun that I added some ric rac to with tiny brads. A bit of ribbon and the flowers are from my collection with matching tiny brads for the centres. Then finally, I've added this wonderful sentiment from Sara at Folded Paper and Printed Pixels.
Are you dreaming about Spring? We'd love to see your creations! Pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle for some more great inspirations and challenge details!
Thanks for dropping by!

Something New and Fun!
Hello again, I'd love to share with you the rest of my projects that I created for Cindy Coutt's Season of Love online card class! It was a wonderful experience for me and if you are looking for some great inspiration and teaching I encourage you to pop over to see Cindy and the new class that she is offering!
For this masculine card I've used just black and white. The image is form Marianne Designs, paper from Make it Special Crafts with a touch of black tied ribbon. For the inside, I used a sentiment from Simon Says.
For this next project, I must say this was a challenge for me! But I love how it turned out! I have never made a treat box before, and my family thinks I should make more. I think they just want the treats! LOL I used a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers and tweaked it to suit me. I used a piece of K & Company paper that's been scalloped with my picture rounder punch and the flower is also stamped on and cut out from the same paper. Then I added a glittery gem sticker for the centre of the flower and some ribbon from my stash to tie it together!
Thank you very much for stopping by! I pray you have a great creative day!

For Being You!
Today I have a card to share with you that I've made at the Cindy Coutt's Season of Love card class. It's a thank you card and I'll be sharing this over at Sentimental Sundays thank you challenge. I've missed playing in their challenges and I'm glad I've been able to this time!
For my card, I've created a background with a Hero Arts stamp. Then I added a great ribbon from Stampin' Up and this flower from Heidi Grace which I coloured the inside with my yellow prisma pencil crayon. Then I added my sentiment from Whimsy Stamps and two small flowers from my collection. When I was done this I did a bit with the inside. The inside sentiment is from Tina Wenke and the flower and bottom flourish is from Heidi Grace. I added a touch of yellow to all the flower centers.

Loveth at All TImes
Hello Friends, today I'd like to share with you some Love! It's the Valentine blog hop from Delightful Inspiration From the Heart. We'd love for you to join us!
For my card I've used this sweet image Smiling Owls found HERE at From the Heart Stamps. I've coloured them up with pencil crayons and layered them over some corrigated cardboard and papers from my stash. With a touch of ribbon and rhinestones and the sentiment that comes with the image it's finished.
One must remember that friends are some of the most wonderful gifts we have. For me, my very best friend here on earth is my husband. The man who loves me for me. We don't do Valentine's Day in our home, but on the 11th of February is the anniversary of the day my husband asked me to marry him. That's our special LOVE day. Plus I do my very best to make sure I give tons of lovin' to all my children, family and friends.
Have you hugged someone today?

Sew Sorry - Forgive Me
Hi, I've got more cards to share with you! I've been really enjoying this class!
This is my apology card that I've made. I went with the sewing theme she had and since I didn't have a sewing machine stamp, I used a digi from Free Vintage Digital Stamps. I made my own spools, since I don't have a stamp for them either. I kinda like how they turned out though. Then with a couple of buttons, lace and a spare gold clothes pin, it all came together. Oh, the paper is from K & Company.
For the inside, I used a swatch of the same paper as the front, and a once again used a digi for the pin cushion. That's from Clear Dollar Stamps. Then, I wrote out the sentiments by hand, not great handwriting, but you get the idea.
I think it's so important to apologize when you've wronged someone. The Bible says that "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Matthew 6:14
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. " 1 John 1:2
May the Lord Jesus Christ be our example, to offer forgiveness readily to those who seek it and to humble ourselves and ask for it when it is needed.
I would like to share this card with the ladies at Word Art Wednesdays.

Cupcakes Made With Love!
Hi Friends! Do you love cup cakes? I do and I loved creating with this image from From the Heart Stamps. It's for their progressive freebie challenge that you can find HERE! Do pop over and join in the fun!
For my card, I used the cupcake image on the table cloth along with the made with love sentiment from the same set found HERE! I die cut it with a Spellbinder's die and then inked the edges and adde more faux stitches around the bottom. It's layered over some lovely papers by K & Company along with some coloured string I wrapped around the main panel and tied the sentiment on with it. The sentiment tags are popped up on foam dots to so they stay put. :) So with some golden rhinestones, it's done.
My husband said it reminded him of orange cake and made him hungry. LOL

Sweet Little One and Blanket
I just love to make things for brand new little people! Today I have a card and crocheted blanket to share with you. For my card, I've used an image from From the Heart Stamps called Bedtime for Bear. I've coloured it up with pencil crayons and watercolour markers. I layered it over a lovely doily and papers from my stash. The ripple ribbon is from Stampin' Up and the border is created with my Fiscars punch. The I added some rhinestones for a bit of sparkle.
Now, what little baby doesn't need a soft blanket to snuggle with? So I've crocheted this one to go with the card.
I love this pattern, because it's quite heavy and yet with the holes gives nice airflow on a warm day.
So since I don't know any baby girls being born soon, I'll be tucking this duo away for now.
Thank you for dropping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
