Today I have a card that I'd like to share with you, I created for my cousin who I just found out has been diagnosed with breast cancer. My heart greatly goes out to her as our grandmother and her mother (my Aunt) died of the same cancer. It is my prayer that she'll hold onto Christ Jesus the Lord and for he has the strength to hold her fast! Whatever the future holds for her.
I have used a collection of papers from K & Company and word art by Karen from Paper Craft Memories.
I created this card also for the following challenges.
Word Art Wednesday- scripture/encouragement
Stampin' Sisters In Christ- Use only a sentiment/no images
Sentimental Sundays- Banners/Pennants and a bonus sketch(which I turned sideways)
Oh my, I'm so sorry to hear about the bad news.. Hope the best for her and that she can beat it.. Your card is pretty and I'm sure it will bring some comfort for her...
ReplyDeleteJen: This card is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to add her to my prayer list. Shoot me an email with her name, and let me know if she is saved. I am happy to pray, and I trust that God WILL be her stronghold.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at Word Art Wednesday. It means so much to me that you shared this in the challenge cuz it allowed me to come by and and find out about this, and I'm more than happy to pray!
Blessings,

What a beautiful card and I pray it will be an encouragement to your cousin!! The only help through a time like this is the Lord!!
ReplyDeleteAMEN to that!! Love your verse, and I'm LOVING everything about this fabby card from your sweet color scheme to those fun banners/flags. Thank you so much for joining us at Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenges this week.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
kris
P.S. I just read your text under your card (sorry I didn't read that b4 commenting on your lovely card). Saying prayers for your cousin right now. I have a couple of friends who are breast cancer survivors (15 yrs.+) and I pray they detected it soon. But as believer, we have hope and faith that all things work together for good to those who trust in Him! May He heal and provide comfort for the weeks and months ahead.
