Good morning to you! It's a beautiful day and Praise God the sun is shining! But even if it isn't, there is plenty of beautiful colour to see. Today I have a card to share with you for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. Can you guess what it is? RAINBOW BRIGHT!!!
Now I'm not talking about the little dolls, I'm just talking about incredible colour! Funny memory here.....when I was in junior high, my wonderful mother in an effort to save my pants from all the holes would embroider flowers and rainbow on my pants. Then since I didn't have a choice I'd wear them to school. My nickname quite suddenly became Rainbow Bright........I'll just let you think about my feelings on that one.
Anyhoo, We would love to see your cards with colour this week!
Today I've chosen this incredible image by Bugaboo Stamps -Live, Love,Laugh block. I've coloured each set of flowers a different colour and added a gem to the center of the main flower. I've used photo corners and some matting to frame it and layered it over an inked embossed panel. The photo doesn't show the ink too well, but it's actually a dark purple not a black. Then I layered some ribbon and used my EK Success border punch along the bottom before matting it to the card base. How's that for colour?
Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps so do pop over to their shop to see what they have available.
Have a great day and we hope to see you over at Card Crafter's Circle!
Oh, yes!! I love the bright and happy colours on this one, Jennifer! Bugaboo has such great images, don't they? They live in my neck of the woods...except we don't actually have any woods! lol I guess I should say my neck of the prairies but it just doesn't sound the same! Anyways...I'm sure your jeans were adorable! The other kids all just wished they had a pair! :o)
ReplyDeleteHi Sweetie, thanks for becoming a follower and taking part in my candy! Really appreciate it. And thanks for your lovely comments as well!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm late in commenting back!
Your card is so beautiful, I love how you coloured these three beautiful flowers so different!
xoxo, Alessandra
Jennifer, this is such a sweet and happy card....love the colours! Now that I look at it closely, I think it would look adorable in a frame....just sayin'! :)
ReplyDeleteWell girly, you picked a super image to use, and you did a lovely job with it! The card is super, and I do like the combination of colors and embelles you've used. I think I agree with Anne-Marie. This would be perfect in a little frame hung in a spot for all to see.
ReplyDeleteBoy those well meaning mother's can really embarrass the fire out of us can't they. LOL I won't even go into what I went to school looking like when it rained. I'll just say it involved garbage bags and leave it there. ;-) Your multi colored flowers make this card super pretty Jennifer. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis is great!! I love that image!!
ReplyDeleteThis one is lovely too - great colours :)
