Hello! It's once again time for another great challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. This week it's all about stars and stripes (not necessarily patriotic). It's not that I'm not patriotic, but I just decided to go with the basics. I have used this wonderful star floral heart from MelJen's and coloured it with markers to help it stand out a bit more. I cut this out and matted it to some blue textured cardstock and for an added touch embroidered some added vines on it. I popped this up over my Stripes and block papers from my stash which are matted to green cardstock. For a final touch I added some star brads. They were silver so I coloured them red with my permanent marker and dabbed a bit off for a slightly distressed look. So voila....this is what I made. Here's a close up of the embroidery.
I hope you'll come join in the fun! If you need a bit more incentive..... this week we are being sponsored by the amazing MelJen's Stamps and they are offering the winner 4 wonderful images!
If that's still not enough incentive.....they go HERE to check out the Design Teams creations. This will surely inspire you! See you soon!

A Card and A Good-bye
Hi There! Glad you could come by! I have a card to share with you that I've made for my kids to give to my husband on Father's Day. I knew the instant that I saw this set that it was for him! It's called Classic Cars and can be found in the Clear Dollar Stamps store HERE!
This is the last card that I'm sharing as part of the design team for Clear Dollar Stamps. Time has gone so quickly and as I mentioned to a couple of team mates- I know all good things must come to an end, but I'm sad that this is one of them. I have truly loved being on this team and working with the incredible images they put forward! So for now I must say good-bye.
One other pic from an angle, since my husband when taking pics of trucks gets every angle imaginable! LOL
I used some dark blue textured cardstock for the base and underlay for all the panels, blue patterned is from K&Company and the ribbon is from Portafolia. Simple card, just how he like things!
Thank you from dropping by! Take Care.

Something Different
Hello everyone, I have something a bit different to share with you today. I have tried a new technique of using my cuttlebug and some plants to create my own paper. I first saw this over at Marilynn's and wanted to try it, but have been aftaid to. What do you think? Did it come across ok? I placed a slip of Wandering Jew and a couple leaves from another one of my house plants (that I don't know what it's called) in between two sheets of cardstock and ran it through my Cuttlebug. Then there was the impressions on the papers. I inked the edges of all the panels with Tim Holtz bundled sage and then added a bloom from We R Memory Keepers atop a flourish by See~ds Lil stamps and the sentiment is from Heidi Grace. All the panels I just layered over some mulberry paper with the edges torn.
I'll be share this card over at:
Stampin' Sisters in Christ - create with something you're afraid of. For me it was this different technique. I really didn't think I could pull it off. and make it look ok, and I actually like it!
and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches # 36. Well, I've missed entering the sketch challenge but wanted to give them credit in their inspiration of this card.
Thanks so much for coming by! See you soon!

Born to Garden!
I love to garden! How about you? Today I have a card to share with you that I made with the Clear Dollar Stamps set Bless My Bloomers. I have been getting my hands dirty in my garden in between caring for my sick family. I love to see things grow and the smell of freshness from new plants is wonderful! I do have to remember to go out tonight and cover them up just incase it frosts. We are supposed to go down to +3 tonight. Wooo chilly!
Well on to the card. I used this wonderful set and added it to some great cardstock from the Dollar Store. The ribbon is from Portafolia and the charm from my collection. The digi paper is from my collection, but I can't for the life of me find out where I got it from? For a final touch I added the word kind and the flourish stamps from Fiscars with Stampology blue ink.
I'm going to be linking this up with Just Keep on Creating - anything goes & Little Miss Muffet - Anything Goes.

Just Delighted!
Hello! Today I am delighted to share with you my first card as a member of the Designed 2 Delight design team! I just adore this Lil Birdie image and knew it would be my first to use for the team! You can find it HERE at the store.
For my card, I coloured the image with prismas and for the flowers - I chose my Crayola markers...yes you read right! (They just happened to have the colour I wanted ) I then cut it out in the oval with my Creative Memories cutters and then added two more layers of K& Company papers. The bottom layer I cut out the scallop with a pair of decorative scissors. This I added to some beautiful paper by K &Company that was matted to another solid purple layer like the image. Then I layered the lace and dark purple organza ribbon together and popped three lovely roses on top to break it up. Then came the sentiment, popped up with foam dots and lastly the pearls.
I am so excited to be a part of this incredible team and work with Faith's wonderful images! Do keep peeking in.....I'll have more to share with you from Designed 2 Delight as the weeks go by!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

At All Times
Praise the Lord that we can trust in Him at all times! Such a comfort and security!
I love this word art being offered over at the Word Art Wednesday blog! They are such a wonderful group of encouraging ladies over there and their challenges are wonderful!
For my card I have inked (with Tim Holtz bundled sage distress ink) the scripture panel and all the other papers just a bit. Then before attatching the layers I put in two strips of wonderful green ribbon from Offray around the center panel. After attaching all the layers I hot glued on this wonderful flower given me from a friend and popped on some green rhinestones in the corners.
I also want to share this card over at Little Birdie Blessings for the Scripture Thursday challenge. It's all about the Bible there and I really love seeing what other crafter's have done using the Word of God!
Thank you for dropping by! God Bless!

I Wonder What Tag?
Hmmm....what tag should I choose? Today I have a wonderful fun card that I've created for the Card Crafter's Circle's Challenge. It's all about tags. Since I rarely use tags for things I've added tags to my card. See....
Now this sweet little froggie is from Robyn's Fetish Designs and is so cute. She looks like she's trying to decide just what tag she should read first.
I wonder what tag she will choose? Each of these sentiments are from Whimsy Stamps- Thank You tiles.
For the card the paper is from Stampin' Up and The glossy textured green cardstock is from the DollarStore. All the ribbon is from my stash and the doily and flowers are from my collection also.
Do come on over to the Card Crafter's Circle to see some incredible inspiration and a wonderful prize of 5 images from our sponsor Robyn's Fetish Designs is up for the random draw winner. I'm sure you'll want to play along!

FROG
Hello, there is a new challenge over at For Fun challenge blog starting today that I've been asked to be a part of! Yeah! It's FROG-Fully Rely On God.
For me, I am so thankful to the Lord Jesus for His grace and mercy towards me! The knowledge that He is there for me through all things is such a comfort and strength to me.
Knowing that whatever happens in life that He will always be with me, even on into eternity, I have nothing to be afraid of! Praise God!
I hope you'll hop on over and join us! Time for some FOR FUN!
For my card I've used a scripture word art from Clear Dollar Stamps set called Value Verses. I added a bit of inking around the edges with yellow and orange ink from Camass and then matted it to a piece of cardstock to match the card base. Under this is a lovely paper from DCWV and I also added a corner of it over the top. I placed this over some orange paper that I distressed and then added the flowers from Prima Marketing with some brads from Portafolia. And that's all.
Take care and know that the Lord Jesus is always there if you need to call out to Him!
I'm also sharing this at Word Art Wednesday and Scripture Thursday at Little Birdie Blessings

Thinking of You
Hello everyone! I have been thinking of all of you, my wonderful followers and how much I appreciate all of the wonderful comments and thought you share with me! It is really a blessing. So just a note that you don't go un-noticed this is for you!
My husband at a garage sale last weekend found these incredible pre-made card bases from My Mind's Eye and surprised me with them! So I plucked one out of the package and used it as my base. I love My Mind's Eye papers and this is the first time I've had any of their product. So, not to detract too much from this lovely pattern I chose to layer some wonderful flower dies (that included these lovely leaves) that I cut out by hand from Fred She Said Designs. I did ink the edges just a bit with some blue Windflower ink and then added a pearl to the centers. Then I stamped the sentiment from Heidi Grace with green Windflower, inked the edges with both green and blue and matted it to some green cardstock from my stash. Then it still looked empty so I added some butterflies that I punched out of the remaining flowers from the sheet with my EK Success punch. After adding the rhinestones to the butterflies I felt it was complete! The card base has a nice shine to it and you can see that in the pic under the sentiment. I thought it gave the flowers and butterflies a bit of an airy feeeling!
Here are a couple more shots I took.
I will be sharing this card with:
Sentimental Sundays: Whimsical + a sentiment
Stampin' Sisters in Christ: Build up your card -I chose to layer my flowers

Therefore I Tell You....
Hello everyone! Today I have a card to share with you that I have created. I printed out a beautiful postcard from Shoregirl Creations and the verse is from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique. I have inked these with a bit of Tim Holtz old paper distress ink and then on the postcard I have added a flower from Fiscars stamped in cranberry ink to the stamp area. I layered these with some beautiful Stampin' Up paper and cardstock from the Dollarstore. The two base layers are paper pierced and I used a brown sharpie marker to add the stitching. Then I finished off with adding some ribbon from SoFacile and a charm from my stash.
I chose this verse specifically since I have been seeking to have a greater heart of prayer. Specifically where the lost are concerned. Never cease to pray for those you know and love that do not know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. May my knees be rough from kneeling and my voice hoarse from speaking and my eyes wet from tears as I lay my prayers for the lost at the feet of the Almighty!
I'll would like to share this card with: Scripture Thursday at Little Birdie Blessings,Word Art Wednesday and For Fun- Flowers

Garden of Life
Hi, are you ready for some great inspiration? Come hop along with us! If you've come here from the lovely Cassie's blog then your in the right place but if you've just come in now, you can hop back to Lori's at Clearly iStamp to begin.
I just want to say that I just love these super sweet images that Clear Dollar Stamps has! Today we are having a wonderful blog hop to share some of our favourite sets and specifically those with wings! For myself, I chosen two sets, first the Garden of Life and the bees from the Bumbles set. What great garden doesn't have a few of these sweet bees hanging around? I couldn't decide what colour version to use so I did three and used a different bee from the Bumbles set on each.
For each one of these cards I just did a variation using supplies from the same sources. CDS for the images (pre-coloured Garden of Life set) and digital paper; rhinestones/pearls from Forever in Time; cardstock from the DollarStore; ink from Ink it Up-brown; Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder and ribbon by Multicraft Imports and Kaisercraft. I used some crystal laquer by Judikins for the eyes and some sparkle from DecoArt for the wings.
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you join in with the rest of the hop. You won't be disappointed, and if you comment on each of the DT blogs, you are up for a chance to win $25 wonderful dollars to the Clear Dollar Stamps store for digital images! Your next hop is over to the talented Kris! If you get turned around just hop back to HERE for the complete list.
Have a marvellous day!

A Little Birdie Told Me....
I have turned this sketch and used the wonderful set called A Tweet Day from Clear Dollar Stamps found HERE! I coloured the image and popped it up over the wonderful layers of paper from Autumn Leaves and the green ribbon from my stash. I added the sentiment next to the two birdies who appear to be chatting happily and then for a finishing touch added the blue rhinestones from Forever In Time.
Thank you so much for coming to see me and I encourage you to go check out the great inspiration and wonderful challenge at Clearly iStamp! This is my second post for the day so do scroll down to see my Glitter creation.

All that Glitters!
Hello, I have a card to share with you for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle - Glitter. I have chosen to try something new and that is to create a window. I have stamped and heat embossed some flourishes around the "window" I cut out with my scallop oval die. Then I added some gold rhinestones to compliment and add some more glitter. The card base is also glittery. Then when you open the card up.....
I chose to add this sweet angel over the diecut that was left over from the "window" and I have inked around the edges of the angel layer with some gold sparkle ink. The wonderful word art is from Papercraft Memories by Karen and it's matted on some of the glittery paper as well. Before I attached these two sections I stamped once more and heat embossed this beautiful flourish. Here are a couple more pics for you to be able to see the details better and the glitter that I added to the angel's wings.
This wonderful angel is from Whoopsi Daisy Digis and they are our wonderful sponsors this week! The winner gets a total of 2 sheets of digis !!!That's 8 images WOW!
We would love to see what Glitter's for you! Please do join us at Card Crafter's Circle! Have a marvellous day!

Time for a New Release at Clear Dollar Stamps
First I have a card to share with you using this fun Bride and Groom Charlie set
Here's what I've come up with.
I've even made Charlene's veil and bow all sparkly!
Secondly I've used the set call Got Tractor!
This is what I've created with it. - I used the outlined tractor with the machines Design Paper. I made the tractor a bit paler because it reminded me of the old one my Grandpa had like this!
And thirdly, I've used this awesome Motorcycle Mania set.
This is my effort with this. I'm going to send this to my Dad because he loves to ride his Harley Road King ....everywhere!
Here's a different angle.
I have such a great time creating with these images! There are endless possibilities and images for all occasions. You can see all these sets and more at the Clear Dollar Stamps Store.
Thanks for peekin' and remember to head on over to the Clearly iStamp blog to see all the other new releases and the amazing samples created by the design team!

Day the Lord has made!
Hi, just a quick post today! Just wanted to share this card with you that I've made for the Word Art Wednesday challenge. I haven't used their free art this time, but have chosen this from Papercraft Memories by Karen. Today being Mother's Day in Canada to, it makes me think of all the days that the Lord Jesus has made. May we always remember to share our love for others each day and not just on certain calender days set aside.

Happy Birthday- Naturally!
Hi! I'd love to share a card that I've created for the challenge over at Stampin' Sister's In Christ - to use something natural. I've chosen to use part of an old straw hat and some twine (dyed dark blue). I chose an image from Birdie Brown -Dreamin' Birds , coloured them with my prismas and then matted it to some lovely deep yellow cardstock from Stampin' Up that I'd inked a bit with Tim Holtz old paper distress ink. I tied a bit of lovely twine around it and I layered this over a piece of an old straw hat and some inked paper from Stampin' Up. For a finishing touch I added some deep blue rhinestones form Forever in Time. I have added this lovely birthday stamp from Lil'Inkers to the mix to fit in to the great challenge going on over at Dutch Dare - Birthdays.

Good morning to you! It's a beautiful day and Praise God the sun is shining! But even if it isn't, there is plenty of beautiful colour to see. Today I have a card to share with you for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. Can you guess what it is? RAINBOW BRIGHT!!!
Now I'm not talking about the little dolls, I'm just talking about incredible colour! Funny memory here.....when I was in junior high, my wonderful mother in an effort to save my pants from all the holes would embroider flowers and rainbow on my pants. Then since I didn't have a choice I'd wear them to school. My nickname quite suddenly became Rainbow Bright........I'll just let you think about my feelings on that one.
Anyhoo, We would love to see your cards with colour this week!
Today I've chosen this incredible image by Bugaboo Stamps -Live, Love,Laugh block. I've coloured each set of flowers a different colour and added a gem to the center of the main flower. I've used photo corners and some matting to frame it and layered it over an inked embossed panel. The photo doesn't show the ink too well, but it's actually a dark purple not a black. Then I layered some ribbon and used my EK Success border punch along the bottom before matting it to the card base. How's that for colour?
Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps so do pop over to their shop to see what they have available.
Have a great day and we hope to see you over at Card Crafter's Circle!

For the Love of Flowers!
Hello, Today I would love to share with you a card that I've created for my Mother-in-Law for Mother's Day. She's not into anything to fancy so I tried to keep this fairly simple. She does love flowers, especially wildflowers. So for this card I've used an image from the Paper Garden. Coloured with my markers and cut out with my Creative memories circle makers. The paper was from my stash and the ribbon is from multicraft imports and So Facile. The charm is from a friend and the flourish is also from Recollections given to me by another sweet friend!
I pray that she enjoys the card and it encourages her to get out and play in her flowerbed! (she has an amazing one in her yard)
I'm going to be sharing his over at Just keep on Creating - anything goes/travel stories
For the travel stories, I just want to say that wherever I go, one of the things that I always remember are the flowers. Don't ask me about buildings (unless they're old farmhouses) , because I remember where I go by the flowers I saw there! This spring, my boys and I went on a walk while my children were in an art class with the homeschoolers. We found some incredible wild crocus blooming in the woods! Incredible!
I pray you have a wonderful day and perhaps you'll notice some beautiful flowers as you go about your day!

The Lord Is Good
So good to see you again! Today I have a card to share with you that I've made for Word Art Wednesday! I have used their free word art and layered it over some wonderful papers from Stampin' Up and the card base I've embossed with my Victoria folder. to embellish it I added just a rhinestone flourish from Recollections and the other rhinestones are from Forever In Time. The Lord Jesus is so very good! What a comfort to know that He knows us and that He is always there for us! Sometimes I get off on my own and things just start to come apart, then I turn to the Lord and He leads me back to His Word.
I have used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches and I'll be sharing this over there as well.
Thanks for coming by to see me! Have a wonderful day!
Here are a couple more pics of the card. I was having fun with the camera today!
