Hello, thanks for dropping by! I have a new card to share with you that I've made in honor of a dear friend of mine's birthday - Bonnie from Grandma Bonnie's Place! Trust also in Him! No matter what you come up against this next year, Trust in the Lord Jesus because He has your best interests at heart!
For this card I've used the scripture panel from Karen's Word Art at Papercraft Memories. I've added it to some old lace I found and some lovely pink flourish paper from K & Company. Then I added a soft beige ribbon/bow and charm. Then a small spray of flowers.
I truly know the peace of trusting in the Lord Jesus for each day. I used to go it on my own, but have found that there is nothing that compares to the peace I have found in trusting in my Lord Jesus for each step! Praise God for His incredible love for us!
I am sharing this card at Little Birdie Blessing -Scripture Thursday

Pearls and Lace
Great to see you again! Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle! It's all about pearls and lace. I have used this image by Di's Digi Downloads and I just love her because she is girly yet has a touch of tomboyishness about her. That's me! As I get older and my girls love these feminine things, I am discovering that I to enjoy them. My oldest is turning 13 in a few days and I asked what she wanted and she said for me to take her shopping!!! I remember the times when she groaned at the thought and now, well lets just say she's growing up! Sigh.
For this card I've used some wonderful textured paper that I found at the Dollar Store. It's a wonderful light butter colour! The pink patterned paper is from Magenta and the green paper is from K & Company. I used crochet lace from Stampin' Up and the pearls are from Recollections and Mark Richards. I added some flowers from my collection and then decided to add a green touch. I don't have any greenery so I just twisted the left over stems around my pencil and voila! There is a hidden sentiment on the left. I punched the side with my Fiscars oval punch and then added the sentiment to it.
We would love how you use lace and pearls, it doesn't have to be a card. Hop on over to Card Crafter's Circle so see some great inspiration! We are being sponsored by the wonderful Di's Digi Downloads and the winner will receive $10 to spend in her store!

Sacrifice of Praise
Hi, it's time for another challenge over at Word Art Wednesday and this weeks word art is Hebrews 13:15.
When I read this verse I think of all the times that I remind my children (and myself) that what comes out of our mouths should be pleasing to the Lord, at all times. Whenever I think of grumbling I start to count my blessings and the grumbles go away for I have much to praise the Lord Jesus for!For my card today I've printed the passage and matted it to some cardstock from the Paper Company. I used some decorative scissors to add a delicate edge to it and then popped it up over the panels that I created using paper from DCWV. All the edges were inked with some lovely purple ink from Pretty Color. Then I threaded the ribbons through and knotted them at the top. The rhinestones are from Forever In Time and the butterflies are from Inkadinkado stamped with the same purple ink. Then I coloured them with my Crayola watercolor markers. Yes, they had the colours I wanted! All this I matted to my cardstock base.
This is my last week as Guest Designer at Word Art Wednesdays and I've really enjoyed the time! I find it such a blessing to share God's Word with all of you through my creations. Do pop over to the Word Art Wednesday blog and see what's new there! We'd love to see your encouraging/scripture creations!

Vroom Vroom
Hi, just a quick post I'd love to share with you today. I've created a card for my brother-in-laws birthday. He loves black and trucks so I think that this will fit the bill. I chose the sketch from the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.
I chose the image from Paula Posts and coloured it black with my prismas. Then I added just a bit of chrystal glaze to the windows and headlights. This I popped up over a couple circles, the patterned one being from Make it Special (scrapbook supplies). The ribbon is from Charmin and the screw brads are from Forever In Time. The inking was done with my Stampology black ink pad. It was a quick fun card that I hope he'll enjoy.
I'm also entering this into the Cutie Pie challenge - Circles.

My first Magnolia Tilda card.
Hello everyone, I just received my first Magnolia Stamp of Tilda from a wonderful friend and I just love her (her and the stamp)! I inked her up and coloured her with my prismas. I have chosen to follow the wonderful sketch being offered over at Seems A Little Sketchy. ( You can click on any of the pics to see them larger if you like.)
I layered papers from Stampin' Up and from my stash along with a die cut I made with my cuttlebug and spellbinders die set. I've inked the edges of the paper with my "old paper" distress ink by Tim Holtz and even added a bit to the ribbon to dull it's brilliancy. I created a tag with a pair of decorative scissors and tucked it under the main section. I added the beautiful pearl flourish and flowers and after looking at it for awhile, thinking that something was missing I added the light blue rhinestones to the corners. I popped Tilda up and here it is my first Magnolia card. What do you think? Here's a second pic with the tag showing.
I'm also entering this in For Fun's anything goes challenge.
Thank you so much for dropping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hello everyone! There's a new challenge beginning over at Clearly iStamp and it's all about Spring! Here the snow is melting and my tulips and crocus are popping up out of the ground! The colour is coming back and I just love it! Today I have a card to share with you that I've created using the Butterfly Bunny precoloured set that you can find at the Clear Dollar Stamps Store HERE!
For this card I've printed out the image, sentiment and the DP from the Butterfly Bunny Set and layered them together with some green cardstock from my stash and some bright yellow ric rac. All the edges I've inked a bit with my Windflower green ink. I used a beautiful flower flourish by Heidi Grace (the ink is dark green) and I've added some bright yellow rhinestones to the flower centers. Just something cheerful to help welcome Spring. We'd love to see what inspires you about Spring.....do join us for the challenge HERE!

In Stitches at Card Crafter's Circle!
Good Morning Everyone! I would love to share with you a card that I've created for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. It's all about stitching, machine or faux. We'd love to see how you like to sew! I always loved seeing the sewing hoops and the delicate stitching done by hand so that was my inspiration for the shape of my card. My card has also been made with this lovely birdhouse in mind. It was a gift for a friend of mine and I made the card to compliment it. Have a look. If the details are hard to see, just click on the pic and it'll pop up bigger for you.
I've used an incredible image by our sponsor Limited Runs called Morning Glory. I love the blossoms on the bare branches and can just hear the sweet songs from the birds as they great each other in the morning light. I've coloured the image with my prismas and added the faux stitching with a brown sharpie. I added a beautiful silvery bow and the butterfly charm is tied on with some tiny blue ribbon. Here is a pic of the inside.
I've added a few layers that have been inked a bit with Tim Holtz sage distress ink that I've cut out with my Creative Memories circle cutters. The sentiment is from Digi Design House which is no longer available. I was so sad that they decided to close their doors.

Butterfly Thoughts
Hello, I just have a quick post to share. I bought this lovely butterfly paper (Botanique- American Crafts) and it was just begging to be used. It has a gold glint to some of the wings. I cut it out, added some gold ink to the edges then I cut out a panel with my Fiscars oval punch and inked the edges with the gold as well. Sorry the pic doesn't show the shine. I then layered some gold and cranberry ribbon together and tied a bow with the latter. I used my glue gun to add a couple extra loops and the flowers that a wonderful friend gave me! Then I stamped the sentiment from Inkadinkado and added a few little EK Success butterflies whose wings I inked and added a mini pearl to. I then added a bit larger pearls to the four corners. It was wonderful to make this just because. I do use a lot of these cards, so it won't be long until it finds a home.
Thank you so much for dropping by! I'm sharing this at Just keep on creating. It's an anything goes blog challenge and is open for a couple more weeks.
I'd also love to announce the winner of the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog Hop "We're not Horsin' Around". Congratulations Paula-Kay of Creative Stamping with Paula-Kay. Your name was chosen from Kathy's blog, DunnitAgainDesigns. Head on over to Clearly iStamp to collect your wonderful prize!

There is Joy!
It's Wednesday again and time for another Word Art Wednesday challenge.
For my part I've printed off the word art, inked the edges with Color Box blue and matted it to some lilac purple paper from The Paper Company. The DP is from DWCV and the lace is from my collection as is the button. I punched out some butterflies with my EK Success punch and inked their wings a bit, added a rhinestone to each and adhered them to the card.
I'm sharing this also over at Scripture Thursday! It's a wonderful place to share God's Word!
Thank you for popping in to see me. Have a wonderful day!

Wonderful April Release from Clear Dollar Stamps!
Hello Everyone, Clear Dollar Stamps has another amazing release being revealed today at Clearly iStamp. As one of their designers I have been able to use their wonderful images and I have two cards to share with you. For my first one, I used Bless my Bloomers set. It's a wonderful set with so many possibilities.
Here is my sample card. I just love watering cans so I was excited to create with this!
I coloured my image with prismas and matted it to some bright green paper from The Paper Company. I popped this up over some wonderful DP from Stampin' Up and some orangey cardstock from TPC as well. The ribbons have been wrapped around the orange layer and the pink I tied into a bow. This sentiment just stuck out to me so I layered on some cardstock which I cut around with some decorative scissors. The edges have been inked with Windflower green ink.For my next card I used an image and sentiment from the Sheltering Light set.
I have chosen to colour my own image, although as you can see, they come amazingly coloured as well! There are tons of sentiments, I had a hard time choosing. This is the sample that came together.
For this card, I coloured the image with my prismas and I tried to give a bit of a foggy feel to around the lighthouse near the top. I chose to use the black and red cardstock to highlight the boldness that I always feel from lighthouses. I also added a panel of DP from K & Company. The ribbon is from Portafolia. I used decorative scissors to give the one edge some movement and inked the edges with Stampology black ink.
I hope you've enjoyed seeing these new sets, there are a ton more being showcased over at the Clearly iStamp blog so do head over and check them out. The design team has created some incredible samples I'm sure you will enjoy seeing! All of these sets are now at the Clear Dollar Stamps Store!
Thanks for dropping by! Have a wonderful day!

We're Not Horsing Around with Clear Dollar Stamps

You should have hopped over from Sarah's wonderful blog and if not, you can start the hop from here at Clearly iStamp. This time I've used a set called Charlie Gardens. I've made him into a girl for this with his "accessories" because I thought the green "thumb" accent to his hooves was too much like nail polish. That's when I decided to do "his" apron pink. We would love for you to hop along to each of the DT's blogs to see the fabulous creations with these incredible sets.
Here is a list of all the HOP's.

Some Blessings in My Life
I have been quite busy with my kids and with starting to get some things growing. My girls went to work and cleaned and bleached all my pots for me! Then we all set to planting some more seeds. Some herbs and some Sunflowers, Sweet Peas and Allysum. We arranged some of them on a shelf in front of the window and put the rest up under the grow light on our fridge. We had quite a mess on the floor left over from all the "helping" but it was a wonderful time together! Here are a couple pics of our finished project. Now we just have to wait and pray that they come up! Oh and there is a pic of our sweet potato starters. We had a Sweet Tater just start growing so we let it go! We've never grown them before, perhaps we'll get something if we pot them up in the greenhouse. As you can see from across the street, we still have lots of snow to melt. Our side is more melted because we do receive more sun, but it's not all gone yet!
These are the little plants that we started earlier. The tomatoes, broccoli and lavender.
Next to it in the other jar is an apple seed that had already started growing inside the apple. I doubt that'll last up here, but the kids want to try! Can you imagine an apple tree in my front room?
Next since this is a long post anyway I want to add a couple pics of my son and his shirt. One day this past week he was fooling around while having a drink of water. (yes, that happens often with him!) He of course spilt it and I was astounded to see the shape it had made on his shirt. Take a look!
The Lord has truly blessed me and each moment of every day serves to remind me of His great mercy and grace in my life!

Do you love Pastels?
Good Morning? Time for tea? Today we have a wonderful challenge beginning at Card Crafter's Corner. It's all about Pastels. Now I'm not fantastic with pastels but I've given it my best shot. I have printed off a fantastic pre-coloured image from Happileigh Scrappin'. This I cut out and popped it on a diecut that I ran through my cuttlebug (swiss dots folder) and to add as a highlight I matted it to some black paper that I cut to match the die cut. (There wasn't a bigger sized die.) I put this over a sheet of blue that I used some decorative scissors to add the corners and border, highlighting the black matt underneith. Before adhering them together I wrapped a piece of lacy ribbon around the blue layer. After putting it all together on the card base, I popped the sentiment into the corner and added a few flowers and a bow.
This week we have a fantastic sponsor. Happileigh Scappin' and the prize is all the images used by the design team!
Thanks for staying for a spot of tea! Do pop over to the Card Crafter's Circle to see the other wonderful creations the DT has to share with you!

Tag It with For Fun!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to share this tag that I had made for my Dad for his birthday. Considering his age (hehehe) I used an older truck from Paula Posts and then layered it over some great textured cardstock, a DP from K& Company and some cardboard. The screw brads are from Forever in Time and I added the sentiment, I can't remember where from with a piece of black ribbon. With a little distressing I think it turned out nice.
I'm joining in the challenge this week at For Fun! It's a great challenge so do pop over and check it out! Great inspiration from the DT to!

Lastly I added some silk flowers (lily of the valley and yellow roses) to the top left corner.

Mmmmm....Chocolate!
I just love chocolate...mmmmm. I know I'm not alone and even though I don't participate in all the "Easter" festivities, it is a great time of year to buy chocolate. If it was a food group I'd be super healthy! LOL
Anyhow, over at Card Crafter's Circle the challenge is Chocolate Bunnies. Now it could be bunnies or just the colour and do tell us what you like best about chocolate? For my effort I created a card using a MelJen's image -CuddleBunBaby. So sweet! I've coloured it with prismas and layered it on some yummy brown textured cardstock. This is popped up over some layers of Stampin' Up paper and tied together with a wonderful ruffled ribbon and bow! The border is punched with my EK Success punch and the sentiment is from Heidi Grace! Oh, all those sweet little red hearts are I made with a Fiskars punch and glued into place(accept the ones on the image).
Our sponsor this week is the wonderful MelJen's Designs. Winner will receive 4 images of their choice!
Hope you're having a wonderful day! If not, try eating a bit of chocolate.

Word Art Wednesday- Guest
Happy Wednesday Everyone! I have some exciting news to share with you. I'm going to be the guest designer for the month of April over at Word Art Wednesday. It's a wonderful challenge blog that uses scripture and encouragement. For this week, there is a wonderful Word Art being given it's the scripture passage Psalm 18:2. How amazing it is to be able to say with the Psalmist that the Lord is my rock! He is one person that never disappoints or disappears. I love that I can run to Him anytime and He is always there.
For my card I've printed out this passage, inked the edges in orange and layered it on some cardstock from Staples. I then cut out a section of DCWV orange floral paper, punched it with my EK Success border punch and adhered it to the center of the card. Then I got out my hammer and punch tools and added some orange eyelets along the side. I then laced some bright pink ribbon through the eyelets and tied a bow along the top. I popped up the passage over the DP and then using some hot glue rippled the ribbon some and added the mini pink roses. To finish it off I added some pearls from Mark Richard and a butterfly sticker from Sandy Lion.
Thank you for dropping by and we'd love to see you link up with us at Word Art Wednesday!
Love and Prayers,
Jennifer

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I have a card to share with you today that I have created with a few challenges in mind. I haven't had time to play in many of the wonderful challenges I follow. So I was delighted to find time this weekend to create this.
