Charlie from Clear Dollar Stamps are now available in Digi form! Yeah! I just love this horse and his girl Charlene! They are having a new release party over at the Clearly iStamp blog so head on over and do some mingling! There is lots of inspiration and digi sets to see! For my part I have done a card with the Charlie -Lean on my set available HERE!
For this card, I've used Charlie and layered him with the barrels. Also I used this sentiment, the set comes with a few. I cut him out and matted it to some dark textured cardstock. This I popped up over a layer of mulberry paper backed by some cardstock so that I could add the ties with the wooden buttons. Under this I have some matted patterned paper. I chose the plaid since that comes to mind when I think of cowboys! After I added the sentiment I inked the edges of the green card base with some chocolate brown ink from Ink it Up. So many possibilities with this set, I know I'll be making more!
I also have a couple of other cards that I have made using Charlie sets that I'd like to share with you. First is a card using the already released set Charlie Daisy and secondly a card with the Charlie sledding set which is being released now.
For this card I've used the digi image, the sentiment the butterflies and one of the fabulous digi papers that comes with the pre-coloured set!Found HERE. I created some panels for the lovely daisy paper and ties a white satin bow around the lower of them. Over this I attached the panel with Charlie and his butterfly friend where I inked the edges to add some blue sky effect. I also added three little rhinestones for sparkle. After the sentiment was added, I placed the butterflies that I'd cut out. I love how this turned out!
For this card I used Charlie sledding. He is so much fun in this and just makes me smile! My family loves slidding so this image will be used lots! I matted the image to some coloured paper and distressed and put over some wonderful snowflake paper that I found at the dollar store (one of my favourite places to shop!). For the sentiment I added a bit of fun ribbon to look like a scarf, an important element when sliding! Finally I couldn't resist adding some foam snowflakes with rhinestones for glitter.
Now for one more, I decided to do one with the wonderful Charliene. So here is Baking with Charliene! I printed off two of her and then used one for a template to cut out her apron front and her scarf. After she'd been pieced together, I coloured her and matted her to some great brown textured cardstock. This I placed over some light brown cardstock and added a scalloped edge to it with some scissors to match her apron. At that time I realized that I'd forgotten to add the cookies! In my family we adore chocolate chip ones in an extra large size! For the background I chose another digi paper from the same set that I used for the apron and it's from the Static Dreams set. I matted a swatch of this to some more light brown paper and then popped the images section over top with some Fiscars glue dots. I then added the sweet sentiment also from the Baking with Charliene set, inked the edges as I did the image section with black ink and added a touch of scallop to it. Lastly I added some lovely aquamarine rhinestones from Forever in Time to the corners.
Thank you so much for dropping by, I do hope you enjoyed seeing some samples of the new Charlie/ Charliene sets from Clear Dollar Stamps. They are all available now in their store under the Digital Images Section HERE!.
Have a wonderful day and find some time for some fun!

Bark, It's Your Birthday!
Did the title throw you off? This week's challenge over at For Fun Challenges is a birthday for those who are celebrating a Leap Year Birthday! This is my second and last week as their guest designer and it's been great to join the team! My grandfather was born on a leap year and he always joked with us that he was younger than he looked! So please join us with your birthday cards to help us celebrate all those born on leap years!
This is the card that I've made for this week's challenge.
For my card I coloured this fun pup with his balloon from K'n K Designs. I inked the edges a bit with green ink from Windflower and matted him on some sparkly blue cardstock. I placed this over some bright lined paper from my stash that I matted to some black textured cardstock for accent. I tied a bright red polka dot ribbon around the top and popped up the sentiment over the edge of the image section. For a final touch I added some bright red rhinestones from Forever In Time.
This weeks sponsor is K'n K Designs and they have some wonderful images!
Do come share with us at For Fun Challenges! We'd love to see you there!

Bottom of my Button Heart
Hello Everyone, I have a quick post to share with you. This is a card that I've created for the Button's challenge over at MelJen's. I just love this heart image from MelJen's and have resized it in three different sizes. I coloured them and cut them each out and matted them to some textured cardstock same as the card base. I then proceeded to sew on a button to each heart and then inked the edges of them with the same ink (Pretty Color- red) that I used to stamp the background. This background stamp was a gift, and I believe it's from fiskars? not sure. I then stamped the sentiment (which is from Whimsy Stamps), cut it out, matted it to the same cardstock as the hearts and added some inking to it as well. Now that I had my base and all the elements, it did take awhile until I had them all where I wanted them. This is what I've come up with.
Thank you for dropping by, I enjoy sharing with you!

You Make Me Happy!
Today I have created this card for the challenge over at Shelly's Images. It's to use three of something, so for this card I used three buttons, then I thought well, I'll use three digi items (flowers, sentiment and paper). The Flowers and Digi paper is from Clear Dollar Stamps and can be found HERE! I used some bright orange paper from The Paper Company and some green paper from K & Company for layers and base. I used a mini-scalloped pair of scissors to add a nice edge to the image and a bright orange ribbon and bow for accent along with the buttons from my collection. I don't know what it is with me and orange lately, I find I'm using it a lot?
I'm also entering this card in the Cutie Pie Challenge- Flowers
Thank you for stopping by to see me! This is my second post today so please scroll down to see what else I've been up to!

Be Still
I think that this has to be one of the verses that means so much to me! I find I get so busy and the Lord Jesus always seems to bring me to a quiet place to still me so that I can hear His voice! When I actually think of who I am and who God is I can agree with the Psalmest when he says, what is man that He is mindful of him? The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and I think that only comes about when we come to the place where we see who we are in relation to Almighty God. For me I am stilled, humbled and thankful for the grace that God through His son Jesus Christ has given me when I believed!
Today this card has been created for the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday. This week I have used the wonderful word art that they are giving away for the challenge. I have matted the verse which I sponged with some Tim Holtz distress ink (bundled sage) to some bright orange paper from The Paper Company that goes with the card base I created. I added this to some fabulous paper I just purchased, and it's from DCWV. I added a swatch of lace that I found at a taylor's shop in town and some gold/yellow rhinestones from Forever In Time to the corners. It still needed something else so before I added to the card base, I added a layer of blue cardstock that I found at the Dollar Store underneith.
Thank you for dropping by and may you to be still and ponder who Almighty is, opening the Word of God and discovering the amazing plan of salvation that God has created for each of us!

Inspired By Flowers!
Today I have a card to share with you that I've made for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle. They have a photo inspiration this week and it's gerbera bright!
For my card I've used Butterfly Izzy girl from Di's Digi Downloads and layered her on some beautiful digi papers from Clear Dollar Stamps (from the Patch Pal Lamb and Charlie Daisy sets). I inked the edges of the papers and also stamped some flourish vines on the blue patterned with a stamp from See~d's. Over this I added some bright yellow floral ribbon from Modern@Home and some fun flowers from my stash with added pearls from Hero Arts for their centers. It needed something more so I made some butterfly friends to for Izzy's friend. They are punched using a EK Success punch and a matching pearl on each. I stamped the sentiment using part of a stamp from Imaginisce and tucked it in to the side. I chose the word Joy since that is what came to mind the moment I saw her! Hope she gives you each some joy! I would love to see you join us at the Card Crafter's Circle! There is some great inspiration from the Design Team so don't miss out!

Hello everyone! It's time for another challenge over at For Fun Challenges, and today I am delighted to announce that I'll be a guest designer for them for the next couple of weeks! Yeah!!!
The challenge is to include: 1 sentiment; 2 different ribbons; 3 brads or buttons.
I love recipes and this one starts in the garden for me! I love gardening and when I saw this image over on Sandy's blog I wanted to use it! She has some marvellous images on her blog, so do drop over and have a peek- lots of freebies to! HERE I saw Carrie and thought she'd look marvellous with a shock of orange hair! My cousin has orange hair and I think it's gorgeous!
Anyhow, for my recipe, I've used the Garden of Weedin' Sign for my sentiment and then a couple of fun ribbons one from The Paper Studio and the other from Modern @ Home. Then for the last ingredient I used three mini yellow brads attached to the three pots of flowers. I placed all this over some beautiful paper from DCWV that I picked up at a card class I took last Saturday!
This is a fun challenge, so it would be "Fun" for you to join us! HERE!

Digi My World is Sweet!
Hi Everyone, I just want to share with you that there is some candy up for grabs at Digi My World.
They have some wonderful images at their shop if you need a taste of what could be yours! LOL
Apple Bloom Thoughts
Hello again! This is my second post today so do scroll down and peek at the other card I've posted today. This card I've made for the challenge over at A Day For Daisies. This is the freebie they've given to use and it goes along with their colour challenge. I've been starting to yearn for spring and that's the first thing that I thought of when I saw this image. Hope you can smell the fresh sweet air from this card!
I coloured the image with markers and then matted it to some misc cardstock I have from the dollar store (they never label who makes what?) Then I added some lovely ribbon from Kaisercraft and Spool o'Ribbon.
I popped this over some mulberry paper and added a sentiment from Fiskars off to the side. To finish I put a rhinestone in each corner.
I'm also entering this card in the Stampin'Sisters in Christ challenge- Your image must be or include a flower.
Thank you for dropping by and have a wonderful day!

God's Word Leads!
Hello Everyone! I've made this card for the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday and I'm getting it in just under the wire! I've had the verse printed out for awhile, but haven't been in my crafty spot much lately! So this is what I've made. This is my oldest daughter's favourite verse and I hear it alot. To me it's a very special verse that always points me to the Word of God for leading! Such a comfort to know that the light is always shining from God's Word and there's never a need to walk in darkness!
I printed out the verse in KJV since that's what I use and matted it to some cardstock that I've edged with my deckle decorative scissors. I layered a bunch of strips that I cut from scraps that I have and fanned them out to look like rays? At least that's what I was aiming for! I then set to work at doing a bit of faux stitching and decided that the verse would look nice with some to. I set in the verse and added some fun buttons around it.
Thank you so much for dropping by today. May you as well find the light in God's Word.

What's Black and White and Red All Over?
Today there's a blog hop over at Clearly iStamp with Clear Dollar Stamps. The theme is What's black and white and red all over? For my card I have been wanting to use this beautiful butterfly set by Clear Dollar Stamps that you can find HERE. The butterflies are all the same image and have been resized and the sentiment is from the set as well. I wanted something simple to bring out the detailed lines these creatures have and this challenge was perfect for it! I printed out the images on Autumn Leaf white cardstock and then used a black marker to trace all the lines and colour the edges. Then I also coloured the little dots on the edges of the wings with red marker. I inked the edges of the sentiment with red ink and matted it to some black cardstock. The butterflies have all been popped up with Fiskars glue dots to give dimention to the card. I used the same black marker to add the faux stitching around the edge and added some pearls to the corners.

You Lead - IFALO
This is a card that I've created for the fun challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle - To die for using die cuts (machine or handcut). I had the opportunity to use Limited Runs - car image! Since it was my "engagement anniversary" this past weekend I made this for my husband who asked me to marry him 16 years ago on the 11th. I'm a firm believer that the man leads and the woman follows so I thought I'd just remind my husband that I'm still following.
For this card I coloured and cut out this fun little car and used crystal laquer to create a shine for the window and the tail lights. I matted this to some textured cardstock matching the card base. I layered this over a map that I cut from some patterned paper I got at the dollar store and added some distress ink (Tim Holtz - old paper) and crinkled the paper up a bit. Since that is what maps usually go through! I cut it out with a frame template from Lily of the Valley and added it to the layers of patterned paper from Forever in Time. For my die cuts I used a Spellbinders scalloped oval die in two sizes for the sentiment. I then added the rest IFALO to the licence plate on the car. It still needed some thing else so I added some great screw brads from Forever in Time!
It's fun to play with dies, there is such a huge variety out there so pull them out and come join us at the Card Crafter's Circle this week! Limited Runs is offering up a wonderful prize of three digis!

Happiness is Bubbles
Have you ever heard it said that new babies only smile when they have "bubbles" in their tummies? Well after having 4 sweet babies, I've heard it a lot and thought that it'd be great to pair this amazing image of a mother and child from A Day for Daisies with this sentiment from TLC!
For this card I've used some bright blue cardstock from Stampin'Up paired with some gentle yellow textured cardstock from them as well. The yellow I embossed with my swiss dots folder using my Cuttlebug and added a slip of lace. For a final touch I put blue rhinestones in the corners.
I'm entering this card in the challenge over at a Day For Daisies and it's free if you play with them for this challenge. There's still a few hours left....

For You!
I love to make cards for those I love! This is a card that I've made also for the challenges at Dutch Dare- Red,White and Pink Valentines/Love and Shelly's Images- Red, Pink and White for your sweetie!
I have used an image from Sliekje. This little hampster is just adorable and I love the flowers it's holding! Yes, even men love flowers! I worked in a flower store for awhile and I was amazed at how many men came in just because they wanted to have some fresh flowers in the house! I have coloured it with markers and pencil crayons. This I matted to some Stampin' Up cardstock that was left over from creating the base for the card. I used some beautiful paper from Stampin' Up and added a border that I made using a pair of decorative scissors and a heart punch. I layered some beautiful pink ribbon over this and a small pink bow to highlight the sentiment (that I found at Paper Smooches). To finish it off I added some red rhinestones to the upper corner. Thank you for letting me share this with you. Do scroll down to to the next post because I've posted two today and I'd love to share that one with you to!

This I Know!
The Bible says that the Lord Jesus Christ lives! Praise God he does and because of this He has the power to save! By His amazing grace He has saved me from my sin and I know that I have life eternal because of His great sacrifice for me!
This card that I have made is for the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday this week. There is word art there for anyone to use if you choose. I choose to use the KJV of scripture so I have printed out the scripture on my computer. I have used an older feel for this card. This amazing truth of the resurrection of Christ Jesus is many years old, but is as true today as the day that it occurred! I have layered a slice of a doily(That's been inked a bit with of distress ink.) under some lovely paper from K &Company along with some toule from my stash. The verse is inked with a bit of distress ink (Tim Holtz) and popped up over the layers. I attached some yellow ties to the orange ribbon. I thought it looked interesting this way! To finish it off I added some different sizes of yellow pearls.
Thank you from coming by! I pray that you to have believed on the Lord Jesus and his sacrificial death on the cross to pay for your sins. To believe that He indeed has risen and has conquered death and sin to bring you the opportunity to be forgiven and receive eternal life.(1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Who do you Love?
Today at Card Crafter's Circle we are beginning a new challenge. It's all about Valentines. I don't actually join in the holiday, but try to make sure that those I love know it and that it's not just an assumed factor in their lives. Who do you love? When was the last time you told those you love them? Don't just wait until a set day on the calender, tell them today!
I have chosen this wonderful valentine swing image. I love swings and this couple looked so sweet together along with their forest friends. I coloured this image with markers and pencil crayons then layered it on some Stampin' Up cardstock and added a touch of distressing. I placed this over some beautiful paper by K&Company; added some lace from my collection over which I placed the sentiment from Michelle Perkett. For a final touch I added three buttons with a bow each. One button for each of the couple and one for the Lord Jesus. For those who have believed on the Lord Jesus, He is the center of their marriage. I am just so blessed that the Lord Jesus is leading my home and is a love that both my husband and I share. (The only other that I'd share my husband with!)
We have a wonderful sponsor this week! Dearie Dolls! Mary Ellen has such amazing images, they all have personality. Do pop over to the store and look around, I'm sure you'll end up with a "love to have" list or better yet a shopping card full. Just click on the button below to go to the store. If you join the challange you have a great opportunity to win 3 of her digis.
Thank you so much for dropping by to visit, I hope to see you again soon. Perhaps over at the Card Crafter's Circle challenge......

Love is in the Air
With all the "Love" going on this month, I thought that this wonderful set from Clear Dollar Stamps was perfect. I just love these tweet birdies and the sentiment from the Love Tweet Love set. I've paired it with some lovely papers that you can also find at Clear Dollar Stamps from their Static Dreams set. I added this wonderful lace ribbon and satin white ribbon that I had in my collection. Something simple to hopefully bring some smiles.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Great Strength!
How very true it is that Strength comes from God. I know that right now my children are sick and struggling. I am tired from lack of sleep (my little boy woke up every 45 to 60 minutes needing his nose wiped!) and I feel a bit drained. Thankfully the Lord Jesus is there for me using my frame for His service to my family. I love knowing I can rest in Him for He is always there for me. Praise God for His faithfulness!
I am entering this card in Word Art Wednesday's challenge. For this card, I used the Word Art from a wonderful Christian lady and fellow sister in Christ Jesus - Karen at Papercraft Memories. I am truly blessed by what she shares, I highly recommend you visit her! For the rest of the card, I used some Tim Holtz distress in in sage to soften the edges of the quote, matted it to some misc cardstock and tied a rope around it. I popped this up on some great paper from K&Company and some handmade paper from my collection. The edges I've distressed and added a bit more ink to darken them. The buttons to are from my collection and I just unravelled some of the rope that was left over and tied it onto the buttons and adhered them to the card.
Thank you so much for dropping by! I love being able to share with you!

Sweet Baby Carriage
I have another card I'd like to share with you today. It's a baby girl card, because the ladies I know seem to be having baby girls this year! LOL I've chosen to use the sketch over at Seems A Little Sketchy - since I love their challenges. I chose the sweet baby carriage from Broken Box Stock and the sentiment is from BrossArtAddiction. I coloured each with markers and layered them on some cardstock with the edges inked a bit. I've popped these up over some floral paper from Stampin' Up and an embossed panel I made with my Cuttlebug. The ribbon is from Multicraft Imports and the buttons from my collection. Now I feel like I'm prepared, unless more than one of these ladies have girls. Perhaps I should make another one soon! LOL
Here's the sketch they're using for this challenge. It's lovely so you might enjoy joining in to! Thanks for coming by! Hugs.

What is Love?
Time for some Love! My children are all sick today so I'll try to be brief. I just wanted to share this with you. I used an image from Digi My World, which is pre-coloured. I tied a button onto the heart with some embroidery thread and attached it to some cardstock from Stampin' Up. I popped it up over some more ribbon that I actually tied inside the card (sorry I forgot to take a pic of that!) which is crossed over some lovely paper from K&Company. It was a simple card, but I hope it warms someones heart!
I'm entering this card in Little Miss Muffet's challenge- Valentines/Love; Sentimental Sundays-Feel the Love; and Shelly's Images challenge- All Tied Up.
Thanks for stopping by to have a peek! Hugs.

Love is Sweet
Today I have another post for you, this one is for MelJen's challenge - Loving You. This is such a sweet bear and I wanted to make this card so that I'd have one on hand to give a friend to let them know I care about them. I always like to have some of these on hand!
For this card, I printed out the image and coloured it with my pencil crayons, then inked around the edges. I layered it on some Stampin' Up cardstock and distressed the edges a bit. This panel is popped up over a couple different layers of matted papers from Stampin' Up also. The ribbon was a gift, and the red rhinestones are from Forever in Time. I thought they added a nice touch. I actually added a sentiment to the inside of this card -which I often do not do. It's from TLC and I thought it paired really well with this image.
In the bottom corner I added a heart by Fiskars with some Colorbox ink.
I'm also entering this card in Stampin' Sisters in Christ's - Create something with Love in it challenge.
Thank you for coming by, have a wonderful day!

Purple Birthday
Hi, Thanks for dropping by. Today I have a card to share with you that I've created for the Digi My World birthday challenge. I've chosen to use Emma- happy birthday set. My children love her and I coloured her up in purple because it's a favourite of the girls to. This time I tried to give her hair a bit of a shine to it. What do you think, did it work? I rounded the image and layered her on some lovely purple cardstock from my stash. The patterned paper is from K & Company and I added a scalloped edge with a pair of decorative scissors. The birthday sentiment needed an extra layer so I added a hand cut scallop to it. I wanted to highlight Emma's lovely hair so I added a yellow ribbon just tied off. To finish it off, I added small black rhinestones to the corners of the image section. I hope this brings a smile to a little girl someday!
Are you looking for something sweet?
Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know again about the yummy candy up for grabs at Digi My World. It's a weekly draw and they have wonderful digis to buy in their store with your prize money! Come and check it out HERE!

Challenge me White on White
Whose up for a challenge? This week it's white on white over at Card Crafter's Circle. I've never done a card like this before and I must say that this was a huge challenge for me! Somehow I never realized that there are so many shades of "white". I love to do new things so here is my first WOW card.
This week we are being sponsored by the wonderful Whoopsi Daisy Stamps.
I've been given this lovely lady at her birdcage to work with. It's so elegant that I knew that I'd have to add my Victoria flourish embossing folder to the mix and some lovely lace. I coloured her dress, doing my best to create some lovely folds. I also blended just a bit of colour onto her back- yes this wasn't a mistake. I once saw this elegant gown with lace that overlapped onto the back of the dress and it just looks exquisite so I tried to give that effect. I had these sweet lily of the valley silk flowers so I used some stems of them, rolling up three of them to create a mass of blooms to the one side with two stretching out from it. I purposely left off the sentiment so that it can be for any occasion.
Do come share with us, there are 2 sheets of images from Whoopsi Daisy up for the prize! Do go check out her images, I'm sure you'll want more than will fit on two sheets!
