Let the Words of My Mouth.....

Hello Friends! Today I'd like to share with you a frame that I decorated.  I found it second hand and it was a touch banged up so I thought I'd play with it.  I printed out this wonderful word art from Word Art Wednesday's challenge last week on some digital paper and then added a strip of patterned paper from K&Company to each side.  As I looked at the word art panel now in the frame I thought about the colours and went rummaging through my ribbons and such for things to compliment it.  I found this piece of suede ribbon and then folded a piece of beige satin ribbon over the top unfinished side.  After gluing that on I started to crochet some flowers in a colours that I thought would compliment.  I made the flowers out of embroidery thread (using the full strand for the larger flowers and half that for the smaller ones.)  Then I layered them together with a deep yellow brad and glued them in place to.  I found this great HOPE tag and thought it would look nice hanging in that empty corner so I crocheted a  flap with matching thread from the flowers.  I glued that up there to.  I then took a piece of patterned paper and cut out some butterflies with my EK success punch.  After adhering them I added a small bronze pearl to each of them.
I truly had fun making this even though it took much longer than I planned.  Plus the wonderful time that it drew me into spending in God's Word.  I love this verse!  The flowers are for the words of my mouth....Stop and smell the flowers.  When we consider our words, we need to be slow and thoughtful about what we say.  "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak..." -James 1:19  The butterflies are the meditations of my heart.  May they be soft and beautiful to the Lord.  "My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding." - Psalm 49:3  Then for the HOPE tag, is the hope that we have when we've placed our faith and trust in Christ Jesus the Lord for our salvation and strength for each day.  " And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."-Romans 5:5  "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Romans 15:13
Here are some extra pictures for you to see.  I am sharing this with Word Art Wednesday this week.  They are a wonderful encouragement to me and I encourage you to go and visit them.
