This card I've made because of a tragedy here in my city. It happened not far from my home, just about 3 blocks away. A whole family is believed to have died of carbon monoxide poisoning. How tragic, and sudden. My daughter's best friend is friends with one of the relatives of the family and it has touched them deeply! It is in times like these that I pray that people will turn to the Saviour Jesus Christ, for hope and comfort.
I have used Mel Jen's dandilion mouse since to me blowing dandilion seeds into the air are one of my most favorite memories as a child. The sentiment is from Dee's Designs. I have used blues and cream paper from Stampin' Up and misc buttons from my collection, plus a rhinestone for the dandilion.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
LittleMissMuffet- Blues and Creams
Dutch Dare- Buttons Galore

Hey Chickie!
So, What's up with you today? Here is a card that I've created using the Triple Chicks set from Clear Dollar Stamps. (you can find it HERE in their store) Chickens are often a barnyard favourite, to watch or to chase! This digital paper is bright and cheery, just like chicks make me feel when they are all fluffy and soft scurrying around checking out their new world.
For this card, I simply sized the papers and layered the chicken wire over the yellow choice. Then I printed out the threesome and layered them all together with some bright yellow ribbon and fun blue buttons.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
For Fun- to use barnyard animals
Sweet Stampin'- To use animals
Thanks so much for dropping by!

Love Is In The Air
Over at MelJen's Challenge Blog, it's all about Hearts and Love! So I couldn't help but join in! I am using MelJen's love birds and the sentiment is computer generated. I used my new die set from Spellbinders to frame the image and layered it on some amazing digital DP from Clear Dollar Stamps PatchPal Lamb set that you can find HERE! The ribbon was another great find at a local taylor's shop and to finish it off, I cornered it with some blue rhinestones.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I know that I've posted a lot today, do scroll down to see what else I've been up to. Hugs!

Be Still
Today I have a card to share with you that I've made for a dear Aunt of my husbands who's feeling down. I find that whenever I'm down all I need to do is to look up and my perspective immediately changes.
I have chosen a wonderful image and digital papers from Clear Dollar Stamps. The image is from the rocking chair digital set and the DP from the baking bear set -they can be found in their store HERE. They're sets are so affordable and there are so many wonderful ones to choose from! I have been invited to join their amazing digital designing team and we'll be coming out with some more sets on the 17th, so stay tuned!
I have layered this image and the sentiment (using Word) together on the DP and placed it atop some distressed cardstock and mulberry papers. The swatch of ribbon I just found at a great taylor shop in town called The Golden Thimble! The button is from my collection and it glitters in the sunlight- you can just see a bit of it in this photo. I tied it on with some Elmer's braiding cord.
I am sharing this card over at Word Art Wednesday. It is a wonderful new place to share encouragement and God's Word!
Over at Stampin' Sisters in Christ they've asked us to create a card/project to show you who I really am, with my style. I find that this is a simple style that comes the easiest to me even though I do enjoy many styles. I shared this scripture because for me the center of everything in my life is Christ Jesus and I pray that it shows in all that I say and do.

Apron Strings and Prayer
I discovered this amazing template and these digital papers through Anne-Marie who gave out a link for Paper Craft Inspirations freebies. The moment I saw it I thought of my good friend who loves to cook and collects aprons! She also loves itty bitty things so I made these itty bitty size for her! I cut out the templates and paper pieced the fronts of the aprons; added faux stitching and cut out a little something for each pocket. I also cut our all the little "tools" that are tucked into each of the pockets. Inside of each I have added some more of the digi paper with another little something as well. Please bear with me for this post, I'm going to show you all the individual cards closer and the insides. (I haven't figured out how to put them together so here they are individually) I stamped in each one a letter and wrote a quote from Cherilyn Costella who compiles a children's periodical to help them grow in Jesus! It's called the Bright Spot and my children absolutely love it! My writing isn't beautiful, but my friend doesn't mind. Hope you don't either.
Hope you like all the little itty bitty details! I really had fun putting these together and I'm delighted that she loved them! I couldn't wait, I gave them to her the day they were finished! Just a mini gift to show her that I cherish her friendship and do notice what she likes! Sorry this last one turned out a bit blurry, but it gives you an idea of how she got it.

Treasured Friend
I have lots of treasured friends! I have been so blessed and and some of them are You! I have met so many wonderful people online since I started blogging it's been wonderful! All of your comments and thoughts are cherished!
This card I've made for the challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle - Feel Good with a Friend! I love to have "tea"parties in my yard with my friends and these birds seem to be enjoying some friend time as well. This week we are being sponsored by Happileigh Scrappin'. She has some amazing digis and if you play you'll be up for a chance to win all the digis that the design team have used! That's 7!!! So what are you waiting for, link up your cards!
I have chosen this wonderful water fountain called Splish Splash, that is actually pre-coloured! I printed it off and realized that the ink was running out so the colours didn't come through as they are originally. I was getting ready to panic (since it was late and all the stores were closed so I couldn't replace the ink right away...yes, I'm rambling) then I looked at it again and realized that it had a really nice pastel feel to it. So here it is! I layered the image on some textured cardstock and punched the side and added some bright blue ribbon to highlight the birds. The pink flourish paper is from my stash and the sentiment is from The Paper Garden. I figure with the water it needed some added bling for sparkle so I added some blue rhinestones.
Thank you for dropping by and know that I love it each time that you do!

Spring Hug
Here is a spring hug from me! I splurged and bought a pot of iris bulbs at the Superstore. They are such a lovely spot of colour in all this white we are having here in the Yukon. Spring is coming.....in a few months! LOL Here are some closer pics of these lovely Iris.

Feel My Hug!
I think that the best things to have when I'm not feeling well are hugs! My inspiration this card is "get well/feel better" from the For Fun challenge- which I missed, but wanted to acknowledge them for their part! Then the Sentimental Sundays's challenge Die Cuts. Since I didn't have any dies, I went out and found this lovely oval scalloped one. So excited - my first die set!!!
I used the die to cut out my sweet image by Sliekje- get well girl and the sentiment from TLC. I layered the image on some blue cardstock that I had leftover from making my base, and then I inked the edges of the sentiment. I placed this on some embossed paper and framed it with a lovely blue ric rac!(the sentiment is popped up) Then the corners looked empty so I added some bright pink buttons to compliment her bouquet with some yellow embroidery thread tied on. For a final touch I used a crystal laquer to bring out the vase. Unfortunately it didn't bring it out in the picture. I hope this will bring a hug and a smile to whomever get it!

Sweet Red Cup
I've been playing with some new things (for me) and this is what I've come up with. I made this for Mel Jen's challenge - Red &/Pink and Kraft and used the sketch from Seems a Little Sketchy challenge. I don't know if the "tea" is good enough to qualify for the Kraft part, but I hope so!
To start with I used the patterned paper and cardstock from Stampin' Up and embossed a white panel with swiss dots using my Cuttlebug(I love to play with this tool!). Then I added some ribbon that was a gift because it had even more dots! The image is coloured, sides inked and matted on cardstock which I cut around with a pair of my decorative scissors. I was still missing something to go along the edge but I didn't have anything that complimented the card so..... I was thinking and remembered seeing this wonderful tutorial on ribbon flowers over at Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings. So I thought I'd give it a try. My ribbon flowers didn't flair out as nicely as hers, but I still like how they turned out!
Then the embossed panel looked a bit lonely still so I created this to go in it!
I used Mel Jen's sentiment and added a couple scraps of ribbon from the flowers. Then the end I punched with my new Fiskars oval punch. Tied a piece of embroidery thread on the end and tucked it under my little tea cup! Here's a close up.
Well, I had fun trying some new things and I hope you enjoy it to. Do pop over to see the tutorial on these fabulous flowers if you'd like to try something new!

Pastel Pig
Do any of you love pigs? My niece does, and this is for her! There is a challenge going on over at Clearly I Stamp and it's all pastels! It's a two week challenge so there is tons of time to link up! For all the details head on over Here!
For this card I used a digi stamp -the pig and sentiment from the Loving Critters set. You can find this and lots more over at Clear Dollar Stamps! I layered it on some lovely pink cardstock and light pink paper, then distressed the edges a little. I stamped a little heart border with my Fiskars heart clear stamp and wrapped a lovely pink sheer ribbon overtop. I added a couple tabs of toule to the corner and some lovely clear rhinestones to finish it off.

Be Not Afraid!
There is a challenge going on over at Word Art Wednesday and it's using Joshua 1:9 (I've done mine in KJV) I printed the verse off on my computer and layered it on some navy blue cardstock. I popped some eyelets into the side and wove a navy scarf ribbon though them and tied it off. The wonderful blue DP is from Clear Dollar Stamps and the rhinestones are from Forever in Time. (they are clear, but picked up some colour in the room) I have been really enjoying playing with digital papers since they are inexhaustable. I can print them out as many times as possible and won't run out and then never be able to find it again!

Bear With Me
It's time for another great challenge over at Card Crafter's Circle! This week it's Bear With Me to use bears!
For this card I'm using Cupcake Teddy and She almost doesn't look like she wants to share this yummy treat! lol I've coloured her with prismacolour pencil crayons and used a blending stick to soften her "fur". I layered her on some Stampin' Up cardstock and some great papers by Making Memories (one of which I embossed with swiss dots). I added some great tiny purple ribbon that I used to loop through the sentiment's eyelets. The sentiment I used is from Dee's Digi Designs. She has a wonderful blog and a few free sentiments so do go check her out!
This week we are being sponsored by the talented Pink Gem Designs. Pink Gem is offering a great prize of 4 digi stamps as the grand prize!
So don't hesitate, hop on over to Card Crafter's Circle and join in the fun!

Guess What's New in My Life?
Hello Everyone! I am very excited today to announce that I've been invited to join the digital team over at Clear Dollar Stamps! Yeah!!!! This was quite a surprise and I am so delighted to be working with the talented ladies over there! If you've never been to see their amazing stamps (clear rubber and digital) then hop on over to their shop.Over on the right side column is the list of all the ladies that I'll be working with and you can click on their names to check out their sites as well. Since I couldn't wait to start designing with their wonderful stamps, I made a card last night that I'd love to share with you! It's from their latest release series. You can check it out here.
I have used their Snow Tweet Blue Image (pre-coloured) and two of the amazing DP's that come with it! I saw this wonderful snowman and knew right off that he needed to be in the snow flurries. So, with a technique I learned from Bonnie over at Card Crafter's Cafe I layered the image and sentiment on the DP and I think it looks perfect! I layered him on some white cardstock and used my Rockies scissors to give some shape. Then placed this over the other design paper that I separated. I did add a bit of silver glitter with an ink pad for a bit of shimmer and three punched snowflakes with rhinestones.
I was going to put up a note yesterday about my exciting announcement, but due to a power failure it didn't happen. So there you go Nancy, no waiting to find out this time! hehehe
Thank you all for dropping by! Have a marvelous day!

They Shall Be One Flesh
Hello! Today I have a card to share with you that I created for the challenge over at Word Art Wednesday. Yes, I am very late getting this in! But, I didn't want to miss it! I have used the same scripture but in KJV.
For this card I printed out the verse on my computer and then printed off this sweet couple from Crafteeguiri. I know that it's not wedding colours, but picture them on their honeymoon (somewhere warm). I chose to keep this simple and layered this sweet couple over some paper from ATD, added a few fun buttons and a mini bow.
Thanks for dropping by! I love sharing with you all!

For the Love of Birdhouses!
Hello Everyone! I have one gigantic post for you today! I just love all the birdhouses that Sandy over at Scribbles by Sandy has been creating! I couldn't decide what image to use, so I just used them all and made a mini set out of them! If you haven't discovered Sandy's wonderful site, and her lovely images, go HERE!
Ok, are you ready, it's a bit of a read, but I pray you won't be sorry! Then if you'd like, I'd love to hear which one you liked best!
For this one, I love blue as you can see and I thought that the tulips should stand on their own so I coloured them pink. I am entering this card in For Fun challenges- just for fun.
I just love the little birdie on this one! I framed it in black to highlight the image frame! I am entering this card in Stampin' Sister's in Christ's challenge - Use something new. For this I have used a new clear sentiment stamp and the new digi stamp.
I love yellow roses (they mean friendship)and thought this image needed a yellow touch to it! This card I'm entering in Stamp and Create challenges - Anything Goes (monthly). This is a new challenge blog to me and looks fun!
I printed out a second copy of this image and thought I'd give it a more delicate look. I am entering this card in Sweet Stampin's challenge - glitter, bling, shine, sparkle. I love the pearls on this and every girl who goes out with pearls shines in the spotlight.
I tried to give this one a bold look. I think the two birds are hopefully having a "nice" chat atop the roof! I'm entering this card in Paper Creations Ink challenge - love and romance. These birds have a wonderful place to share with each other.
I love the rose garden this little birdie looks to be guarding! I am entering this card in Designed 2 Delight's challenge - Create a card with a heart. I love the tiny hearts on this birdhouse so I thought it would fit! I am also entering this card in Penny's Paper-Craft challenge - To use birds.
I really liked this image to so I printed off a second of it as well. This one making a bit more bold to highlight the black in it's border! I am entering this card in Annabelle Stamps challenge - Anything goes.
For me, this one is all about the ribbon and the sweet bows! I love buttons to so this one gets some. I am entering this card in Sentimental Sunday's challenge - Ribbon + a sentiment.
Well, did you make it to the bottom? Hope you enjoyed the cards I have to share with you today. Remember leave me a comment of what one you liked best. Thanks so much for dropping by! Hugs!

Hangin' With Sasquatch!
Hello, this is another post I've made today. Do scroll down and have a peek at what else I've been up to.
For this card I've used MelJen's Yeti Cocoa image. He looks so content and laid back, I thought this sentiment from TLC was perfect for him. I inked around the image with some lovely green ink to give it a whispy look of being in the trees. The sketch I used is from the Here Come the Boys challenge.
I'm entering this card in these challenges:
MelJen's - Anything Goes (with their images)
Dutch Dare - For the Boys

Sweet Shell
Today I have a card I've made using the fabulous "Shell" from Stretch N' Bubbles Stamps. I used the sketch from Seems a Little Sketchy challenge and added ribbon and lace since it's for the challenge over at Cutie Pie. I thought that these two challenges complimented each other and they inspired my card! All of the elements in my card I used from my stash and were fun to put together. I coloured Shell's flowers green (strange I know) since they reminded me of those fabulous green button mums you often find at flower stores. The sentiment is from TLC.
Thank you for dropping by to see my card! If you have time, these challenges are still open so you can join in to!

Happy Birthday to ........
It's Birthday time over at Card Crafter's Circle! Come on over and join us in sharing your birthday cards. Today is also Audrey's Birthday (13th, depending on which part of the world you're in)! Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have a fantastic day! You can give her birthday hugs Here.
For my card I used a MelJen's Tea Cup Mouse image! Most of my cards are more feminine, so I thought that I'd try for a masculine one. It's harder for me to do! I added the image to some cardstock, layered it on some cardstock circles and DP from my stash. With a bit of silver ribbon and some fun buttons that I sewed on I think it's fit for a great Man birthday!
We have a wonderful sponsor for this week! You can check out their store HERE! The winner receives 4 of their wonderful digis!
Thank you for dropping by, and I hope you come play along with us at Card Crafter's Circle!

Blue Snow
Hi, I'm back again today with another post. This one is inspired by Sentimental Sunday's challenge -Snow, Blue &/or Glitter and Stampin' Sister's in Christ's challenge- Thinking of You. I just love this image by MelJen's Designs and thought he'd look good in blue! Not to mention that blue is my favorite colour. I coloured him and layered him on some blue cardstock. Under this big sweetheart I put some velum with let is snow printed on it. I used the dark blue ribbon and frayed the edges to look like scarfs. I added some snowflakes from Hero Arts and added a rhinestone to the centers. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado and to finish the card off I added some sparkles with my silver ink pad. All in all, I thought this was super fun! Here are a couple more fun shots of this card.
Thanks for dropping by! Hugs.
